Games I've played and would recommend are:

• Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles (has Symphony of the Night as an unlockable, enough said)
• Crisis Core
• God of War: Chains of Olympus
• Dissidia
• Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2 (Japanese only, but it's mostly straightforward, especially so if you've played a Tales game before)
• Prinny: Can I Really Be The Hero? (awesome platformer, but fucking rage inducing later on if you play on Hell's Finest mode)
• Gradius Collection
• Lumines
• Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions
• Parappa the Rapper

Probably a bunch more, but I'm far too tired to think of any. Also a fairly outdated list compiled by /v/ here.

using usb connection, my folder is completely empty

You'll have to format the memory stick using the PSP. It's under the system information section.
