Yes. The sudden, out of nowhere, high quality transformation sequence to kill a blob of shit monster.

rofl, angel strippers killing shit monsters... sounds silly enough to be entertaining at least for a bit; I think I'll give it a chance though I wasn't going to before.

BAH. Gamefly just shipped the 360 version. Oh well, from what i understand the graphics are not horrible either way, just a bit better on PS3? I wonder if it is even noticeable. Played the PS3 demo a few times on different difficulties and I can't wait. Either way, just happy to have it coming this week. Now I need to get Enslaved.

Nice!! I was going to that myself, but decided to hang on to Dead Rising 2 a bit longer. I will send it back soon though, and then it will prolly take GF a week or two for an Enslaved to come in.

A bit slower FPS and some hiccups in the frames at times. Nothing major by any means, and since it's Gamefly, who cares... If you were buying, I'd recommend PS3.

so far I really like this, I really like the way that rather than make generic enemies they seem to have populated it with the whole pantheon of medieval european mythical creatures. That in turn feeds into what seems to be one of the games strong points so far, the very vivid and fantastic world in which the game takes place. The environments are really pretty and the voice work is predictably great, as is the choir/orchestral soundtrack.

The only gripes I have so far are that the combat doesn't feel as smooth/fluid as it should, and the faces of the character models look a little ghetto especially compared with just how much detail seems to have gone into the environments and even the outfits. I definitely think this game would have benefited from a bit more polish all around, but so far it's pretty great.

Seems like there's a lot of collectibles and shit too, the way the game keeps track definitely makes up for it being so linear.

So far I'm pretty glad I got it, then again I didn't pay full price sooo

I'm confident that Enslaved is gonna suck (or be terribly, terribly average) in the gameplay department. If it's another Heavenly Sword I will disown NT. However, I can't wait to pick this up.

the couple reviews I have read for Enslaved said it's a beautiful game, with a good story, but the combat etc. is pretty simple/straightforward.

yeah it's getting more or less the same numerical scores (not that I put all that much stock in those) as Castlevania. Gametrailers gave it a really nice review actually:

Pretty much what I expected. For all my hate of NT, they have high quality graphics and visual (even if I don't agree with the style or the design 100%) and good stories. But they can't actually do gameplay worth a shit.

I was hoping Enslaved would be good so that DMC5 won't be horrible, but I heard that Capcom is doing the combat mechanics for that, so I don't care anymore.

I am actually really quite liking Enslaved. The voice acting and character animations (especially the faces and the emotions they... express) really are superb.

"If these fish can live for over 200 years against the odds... then so can we."
    Ha.

Castlevania is also fun as hell. I will agree with the few gripes that most reviewers have with it, confusing where to go next at times, somewhat shaky grappling/jumping controls. While i agree with those, they don't at all take away from the beauty of the games voice acting, story, environments or enjoyability. I have had a hard time going back to it after grabbing Enslaved as a rental. With Enslaved being beatable in 8 hours though, I have little reason to just yet.

Both are amazing games in my opinion, and quite beautiful! Playing both on 360 btw, just because that is what Gamefly sent me and that is all that Enslaved was available for at Blockbuster.
