I won't lie, I generally do enjoy the brawl matches that I have seen... but I just can't get into the game.
Doesn't help that the people I know with the game all like to play with all items on and do FFAs and shit.

Yeah understandable. I will say it's kinda weird when people are like "I'm the best amongst my friends" and I can state "I'm the worst amongst my friends" with a straight face because my smash related friends are all like in the top 3 players in the country with their respective characters.

I'm honestly probably not even close to the worst, I'm just easily frustrated and am especially hard on myself over the smallest of mistakes.

Same here, and I have a bad habit of jumping when I know I shouldn't (in every game ever) so I'm constantly 'beating myself up'.
I've been working on it but I can't seem to shake this shit...
