The point is that gekko should and will average slightly higher than asurans, and has some nice spikes when /war. Your original statement of asuran being superior to gekko was simply incorrect, move past it.

Oh no, my salvage group killed bhaflau boss just fine. When they all migrated to pande, I kind of lost my group to salvage. Since there are no competent players on quetz, I stopped trying in shout groups after about the 4th fucking time the dds ran up to the goddamn door to fight the gears to weaken the boss. Every first pull "OOPS LINK". Useless.

It doesn't mean anything because with most parsers if you miss the WS entirely it doesn't add it into the average, the only way you will get a wider range is if you DA and miss the first hit on gekko.

Edit: Wow I never realised just how retarded this conversation had become. Gekko isn't an amazing WS if you've got 1000 attack and cor rolls out the ass, it never has been. WSs like sidewinder and steel cyclone are always going to be able to put about much larger numbers than gekko with enough attack. The impressive thing about gekko is the damage it can do with very low buffs and it can still exceed the average of most other jobs WS with standard merit/salvage buffs.

Looking at the way you phrased it, I was assuming you meant gear. That is to say ACC is detrimental in the sense that it could be used for STR pieces, in which case, ACC is more "detrimental" to Gekko.
