Non Rajas 6 Hit

Kind of curious as to what different 6 hits people use when they don't have Rajas.

I've toyed around with a few ideas such as using white tathlum and brutal combined with Hachiman hands...but was wondering if anyone had come up with something I've missed.

Assuming this is for SAM as you mentioned hachiman hands and without using usu, hachiman hands +1, brutal earring, and ecphoria ring gives you the +11 you need assuming you have max store TP merits and 450 delay GKT and would be cheaper than buying a white tathlum, at least on my server.

EDIT: If you're looking for a lower budget 6 hit setup, NQ hachiman hands, chiv chain, ecphoria ring, and brutal would do the trick too.

I could see usu body/feet if SAM isn't your main (i.e. you have tamas/sattva instead of rajas), but in that case, you probably wouldn't have usu either. Usu body works nicely on low DEF mobs, too.

If you're switching rajas for something else, like hachiman hands, but have it available, it'd be better to go with rajas + another piece that doesnt have STP.

Also nuevo with STP + usu feet gives enough. But to be honest, most SAMs without rajas are pretty bad because either they don't care about SAM/main another job, or don't know how to gear it up well. The few that do know how to gear it up but dont have rajas probably use nuevo/lolaskar with hachiman or some such.

a 6hit build means 6 hits from 0 tp, or ws from 5 hits.. you require 21 stp with an onimaru or a hagun or soboro to pull this off. With full merits, hachiman legs, and chivalrous chain, you do not have a 6hit setup.

ACP body[Acc/Store TP] + Hachiman kote for TP
Domaru + Feet Hachiman for WS
Probably best way to keep 6-hit w/o rajas or Usukane.
though for obvious reasons it would be stupid to do this assuming your sattva is for pld only[and not nin, blu, or rdm], since you'd have to be brain dead to pick a sam ACP body + Sattva over Rajas + pld ACP body unless you have hydra Haubert maybe.
So ya just get rajas, sattva isn't that great compared to Fast Cast/5 enmity body for pld.

Wouldn't Askar + Usu feet work? I could see this only being useful with Cuch Mantle, Sniper's +1 x2, etc etc...Rajas prolly still better in 99% of situations.

I would stick to Hachi Hands+1, Ecphoria, and Brutal. If CoP and gil is an issue, then Hachiman hands and feet would work. The combined sTP from both of them may make it so you do not need to have stp during ws's aswell.

this really, the argument for sattva is pretty shitty, I can't see any reason to take sattva for marigal gains compare to what rajas does for you. While tamas I can see but if you have tamas and really don't want to change then do ACP body for sam as best choice really, which would be stupid for a sattva user to do since much better tank stats on the body and better melee ones on the ring.

while this would work, No Usukane is mentioned so doubt he has, and rajas + haub will always beat askar + w/e ring.[not counting when you're using askar for the evasion on tanking something.]

Correct me if I'm wrong, but before ACP bodies were an option, even if you had a rajas and no usukane you still have to either give up a haste slot for hachi hands or feet or take a significant reduction in accuracy for askar body for a reasonable 6 hit build, right?

The hachiman kote +1, brutal, and ecphoria ring combo gives you the necessary store TP and only takes up 1 potential haste slot (hands) with a very minimal accuracy cut. I don't see how this is so gimp that a SAM using this would never get a merit party invite. It's not the absolute greatest setup in the world, but it's far from terrible.

Thank you... I have Tamas Ring because I have every mage job levelled. Do I wish I had a Rajas for my SAM? Hell yes. Can I justify tossing my Tamas for it? Nope... since 80% of the time I am on a mage job at LS events :<

Pretty much the same here...with playing Pld for every event but Nyzul/Salvage I would be pretty stupid to drop my Sattva just to improve Sam, which I don't use for events...and because I'll be healing Salvage and Nyzul on Rdm soon I won't even be playing Sam for anything other than meriting so...getting a Rajas just to merit with is what I consider one of the biggest wastes of a CoP ring in my opinion...
