Either go red/green or black/red or green/black it isn't worth it in your deck to go three colors. You are going to have some games where you get perfect draws and you can cast everything you want but more often than not you are going to be mana screwed in that setup. After this new set comes out mono-green infect aggro might be viable because of the 1 drop infect elves.
mmk, I'll wait then and see how that pans out
This is just me but if I were to run Green Infect with Putrfex I'd also run Mimic Vat. Those work so well together.
Mimic Vat on the field. Bring out the Fex, attack, sac, exile, throw onto Mimic Vat for a 3costing Putrfex every turn.
Awesome - Had $15,000+ in cards stolen yesterday because they were at a friends house and his home was broken into.
Wow dude, that fucking sucks. I've had my cards stolen as well before, really tough to come back after that.
A) Man that really bites. I never would have even imagined cards being stolen during a break-in.
B) So I have simplified the above infect deck to be Black/Green, how's it look?
may swap in Grim Affliction:

I don't think you need the land acceleration cards in there. I would just up the land a little and add some tricks to get your guys in like canopy cover, creature removal or the ever popular tumble magnet. Viridian corrupter is good since alot of people play artifacts atm. I don't recall most the cards in New Phyrexia but I'm sure theres a few more cards in there that may help. Personally I've never liked hand of the praetors, Hes not really a finisher, doesn't really compare to 4drops in other aggro decks and he gets removed to easy since he needs to stick around awhile to make an impact. I would play contagion clasp over him since it can come out early kill a chump blocker or utility creature and proliferate for same cost as hand of praetors giving you some minor removal plus one of praetors key features.
G/B infect is the most popular infect deck but the most successful infect decks I've seen been R/G, U/B and U/B Tezzeret infect. I'm currently running a Tezz infect deck thats working out much better then I expected. Friend wants me to goto National qualifier tomorrow but idk if it can really be competitive against most cawblade decks. It beat his Naya cawblade deck every game so he thinks it may have a chance but I think he just doesn't want to go alone.
Man, I brought my Trap deck to the qualifiers there and I did really well with it. I won 5 out of my 9 matches.
First round, first match, didn't get a single Archive trap while my Opp was using Caw-Blade. Was decking searching left, right, and center.
second match, got 4 Archive traps turn 3, he plays a stoneforge and says "I'm not going to search my deck". Almost died from mentally screaming swears.
Went 0/2
Second round was vs a deck that I'm not really sure what it was. Match one, I hit him with 3 Archive Traps turn 1 then Hedron crab the rest.
Match 2, I managed to throw a trap out every other turn and won.
Went 2/0
Third was vs... a greenbeat stick deck. First match he got to the point of having like 8 fetch lands out and me with 4 traps in my hand and I just had this big ass troll face on my face. He knew I had the traps and deeply regretted fetching the land. lol
Second match he didn't have much moxy in him so he didn't care about using his fetch land. Destroyed him with my traps.
2/0
4th was vs a Proliferate deck. Won the first match, trapped him, second match, he beat me down, 3rd match, he had 3 cards left in his deck, I had 5 life left. He Mana Leaked my hard casted trap, then hit me with a Mindslaver, and won.
1/2 on that.
5th was against a Glinthawk aggro deck. lost against it fucking fast. God damn glinthawks and lack of mana draws.
0/1, dropped the last match.
All, in all, I had a blast. I felt so fucking happy after I hit that guy with 3 traps turn 1. Fucking hilarious.
Can you explain proliferate because the way I am reading it sounds borderline OP. Anything that I want to use it on that has a counter gets another one? So if I have a +1/+1 it becomes +2/+2, if opponnent has a -1/-1 it becomes -2/-2, and adds a poison counter if one is already in place?
Yes, that is what it does. No, it is not any good.
It is average at best with Pyromancer's Ascension, and no matter what any one says, those decks are awful and hated out so easily.
I haven't used it yet, but on paper it sounds nasty.
Lots of stuff sound nasty on paper in magic then fail hardcore in practice. Proliferate being one because it is overcosted and slow. In some rare cases it can really help late game but for the most part it is just too slow to make a significant difference.
Yeah I iamgine once I have more experience playing I'll be a lot better at building.
LOL @ Matignon and Wofa-Topa. NICE.
I'd be laughing at them if 3/4 of my cards weren't just stolen![]()
