More hatebears for white in Legacy!
New Garruk as well, but more of a casual card:

It's already a game-winner if you manage to cast it with Sanguine Bond out.
I wonder for what reason they would let through activated abilities of lands.

And when did they start flavor-texting quotes from real life literature again?
I'm about 99% sure M11 had an Alice and Wonderland quote on Diminish.

Weird, I thought I recalled Doug Beyer mentioning a while back that they phased that out entirely to increase immersion/lore/etc. I like it, personally. I suppose it's more nostalgic for when I played though.

Wow, Garruk is awful lol.
Grand Abol destroys Counterbalance, but they have removal.
countertop hasn't been really good in legacy for a while now.
and yeah, im getting a vibe that one less mana or one more loyalty would've made garruk a lot better, then again the damn thing screams monogreen, and odds are it'd be out on 4th turn more often than not.
not awful though, definitely has potential, esp now that jace is out of the picture, midrange green might actually be a viable deck
I think that Garruk is what it is because of his [-3]. Shit like Khalni Hydra, Summit Apes, Thundering Tanadon, Leatherback Baloth, etc. makes some significant card drawing for 5 mana.

Spider Lord?
SPIDER LORD!
Also, Sutured Ghoul and Cemetery Reaper see reprinting.
Any advice/tips for a beginner? Never played before, but a friend taught me a week ago and I learned a bit more with the free Magic game on PSN (free with PS+ anyways). I bought this as my first deck: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...%27s%20minions. It was cheap and it comes with Nightmare, which I used alot in the PSN game. Looked around online and I'm gonna try to make a deck based around Life drain spells/effects. Also, is there a cheap and reliable place to buy cheap/NM condition singles? I'm the type thats probably gonna buy the protector sleeves and keep all cards perfectly straight and in pristine shape soooooo yea. Wanna buy them in perfect shape.
hahaha a fucking spider lord... awesome.

Sutured Ghoul 4BBB
Creature - Zombie
Trample
As Sutured Ghoul enters the battlefield, exile any number of creature cards from your graveyard.
Sutured Ghoul's power is equal to the total power of the exiled cards and its toughness is equal to their total toughness.
lol
obviously going to combo with Buried Alive... and a single bounce will make you frown.
oh god, angry hermit memories

I would not want to see that in an Onslaught era elves deck.

Thank god it's a three card combo.
Gonna be so silly when someone actually manages to pull all 3 out in a draft. Not sure how much I'ma like limited with all the high cost cards triple color mana costs in this set but I think I can handle two months of M12 drafts till Innistrad \( -_-)/. Been mentioned that since the majority of the last seven sets have encouraged multicolor decks that Wotc might be moving cards a bit more towards double and triple colors in mana costs to encourage more mono-color decks.

Selling my account for around 1k to build a PC, I'm pretty sure I'm not gonna miss MTG that much.
Dang... weird to think that an online account for MTG can be worth that much. Guess a sticker shock, but in the end, can easly see it. Somewhat how FFXI accounts can be (or use to be? dunno now) worth 4K+. Always wanted to play MTG online, but never wanted to commit to having to keep buying more cards (and being a perfectionist, could easly see spending way to much)
Ponder is exciting.
