Someone was saying Venser was not included because he is dead since he teleported his heart into Karns heart to save Karn and Karn is in that picture. Who knows though.

i still can't believe they actually fuck the lore that hard on the last novel, it's somewhat ironic that on the previous mirrodin block novel, Memnarch was trying to use the entire Mirrodin itself as a conduit to transfer Glissa's spark to him, yet now a dying addict can just cast teleport spell to transfer spark.

He transferred his heart, because the phyrexian taint had reached the point of no return for Karn's.
Heart != Spark

Also, remember the last time we we're on Mirroden, it was BEFORE the Time Spiral shakeup, the rules were different back then.

Planeswalkers also aren't insane crazy powerful borderline gods as they were so I guess its not that unbelievable that transferring a spark would be easier. Who knows maybe it bypasses some rule if you choose to give it up as opposed to taking it. Either way I'll miss venser and his epic sideburns.

Even accounting for that, isn't Karn's "heart" a Phyrexian heartstone to begin with? Not to mention the overall idiocy of transferring an organic meatbag's heart to jumpstart a fucking Golem

Just pointing out the reason I hated Venser and Bolas, both are horribly written characters, the former pretty much messed up with the whole planeswalker concept, the latter is the Magic's equivalent of Aizen, not that it matters when it comes to the actual card game.

So on planeswalkers, it seems Innistrad with have 2 planewalkers one is Liliana of the Veil the other is a planeswalker "were currently familiar with". New Sorin will be in Dark Ascension. Kiora will be printed in one of the two smaller sets. Total number of planeswalker cards is unknown and Ral is yet to be officially revealed. Without knowing Innistrad story Garruk would of been most likely for Innistrad but after getting a new version in M12 he seems unlikely now. Not counting Garruk and everyone with a current card in standard the only possibilities are Ajani, Nissa, Sarkan, Gideon and Nicol Bolas. Ajani has a hidden deck in Duels2012 with Innistrad cards and will have no version in stand after rotation, Nissa is after Sorin but its seems weird she come first if shes after him, Sarkan goes anywhere Nicol says, Gideon last I know of story wise he left for Ravinica to ask for help on Zendikar, as for Nicol he prefers not to get directly involved in things.

Last week I found a good deal on the Fire/Lightning premium deck at a local wal-mart, for $25/ea. Bought 4 of them. Now I have a decent Red Sligh deck for legacy. Well worth the price when I look up what I get for that $100.

Target had them on clearance a month or so ago for $17. Not sure if it was just in WA or nationwide.

Yeah I checked my local target, they didn't have any. Still, $17 would be worth it just for the lavamancer, figure of destiny, and chain lightning alone.
