Absolutely insane - all you need is a way to deal him a single damage (Arc Trail ftw). I wonder if you can use one of his day abilities, get him flipped, then use a night ability all on the same turn...

On another note since alot of people I've talked to have missed it, Transform cards will not appear like regular cards in packs instead every pack will have least 1 transform card which replaces a common slot. So Garruk will share the transform card slot will rare/uncommon/common ones so depending how the slot falls Garruk might be rather hard to come by. But that does mean theres gonna be 3 mythic packs out there.

There was a lot of debate about the double-faced cards, but in the end, the design vision made it to print. Be aware that every booster will have one double-faced card in it. In order to print them, we had to make a sheet just for double-faced cards, which allows us to include them once per booster. The double-faced card takes the slot of a common (the key reason the checklist took the place of a land over a common), even though there are double-faced cards of every rarity.
The rarity of the double-faced cards comes from how often they appear in booster packs. While they have their own sheet, we managed to come very close to having each rarity hit at about the same percentages as a normal card of that rarity. So yes, that means if you get a rare or mythic rare double-faced card, you will still get your normal rare or mythic rare. The double-faced cards do come in premium, and both sides of a premium double-faced card are "foil." (The ultimate dream booster, by the way, will include a premium mythic rare double-faced card, a premium mythic rare, and a non-premium mythic rare.)

You cannot redirect to your own planeswalker under the current rules as far as I am aware. Making him considerably worse. He also dies to a stiff wind.

You can always have him damage one of your creatures with his first 0 ability if you need the transform asap.

Yeah all you gotta do is shoot a creature power 2 or less with his first 0, that's the whole point of the ability. Or if they have no creatures just start pumping out 2/2s until you want to flip him then kill one of those.

I also don't think you can use an ability, flip, and then use his dark side ability in the same turn. Double face cards still count as the same card even after they flip, so enchantments don't drop off either.

New card spoiled today. Looks pretty amazing to me. A cheap Call To Mind that also gives you a body.

On another note I bought some cards on craigslist last night. $50 for a shoebox full. When I got home I found three revised dual lands, 3 wasteland, 2 grindstone and a whole handful of other $10-$20 cards. Pretty stoked.
