At the beginning of your upkeep, reveal the top card of your library. If it's a creature card that shares a creature type with a creature you control, you may cast that card without paying its mana cost. Otherwise, put it on the bottom of your library.

Vexing Devil is freaking great IMO. Yeah you might be eating some spot removal on him, but a first turn drop of that fella would be scary. Unless he gets vapor snagged your opponent is at a min eating 4 damage for 1 mana.

I love that it has the devil deal the damage to the opponent, instead of the opponent paying life.

I'm pretty sure you should take the 4 damage 9.9/10 times it comes down on first turn.

Combined with Stormkirk, red will have a first turn drop every hand.

I popped a Sword of Feast and Famine out of a besieged pack I picked up at PAX, not sure what to do w/ it right now...I could throw it into my invisible stalker/human/equipment deck but I don't know if that's really utilizing its powers well...

More stuff, including new planeswalker (2 standard abilities are meh, ultimate is completely gamebreaking). Decks built with Bruna in mind could also be absolutely insane.

Everyone of the big Angels shown so far just screams EDH, and maybe Legacy Reanimator or Frites (the RW one from yesterday at least).

Bruna isn't on color with Uril, nor it is better than Zur on EDH so I have doubts on her making impact. Gisela is just fucking sick in Kaalia though, and can probably stand on her own just fine as a general.

Azami's EDH deck are gonna be retardedly annoying to play against with Tamiyo though, damn thing tend to pack enough permission to see it to ultimate and shut the entire table down with a rewind, snap or something equally hilarious

Planeswalker is meh. It will fetch a high price then become a $6 PW.

Emancipation Angel is absolutely sick IMO. Too bad white aggro has better 1 and 2 drops right now though.

I'm not seeing why the angel is good, 3/3 flier at 3 isn't exactly above the power curve, and kor skyfisher ability makes me think she ought to be 3/4 at the very least, so she's kinda below the curve if anything.

She eats soul tokens even with honor the pure or the +1/+1 token card and the return a permanent isn't really a drawback since usually in WW you only need 3 mana, or you can return a card like Relic-Warder to your hand to upgrade its exile target. Just a flexible card IMO.

The Planeswalker is for sure awful though. 5 mana sorcery to draw 2-4 cards? Jace's Ingenuity is much better. There are too many faster creature decks for her +1 to save her from death in a control deck.

I can see the angel being used in Death and Taxes since 3cc is the Aether Vial sweet spot for that deck (Mangara, Flickerwisp, Mindcensor, Stonecloaker, Finks) but I just can't see it making that huge of an impact on standard unless more good ETB WW creature. I mean sure she can kill token one by one, but if a 3/3 flyer is a deterrence to a B/W token, they wouldn't be a real archetype.

My valuation is probably off, but I guess I was just extremely underwhelmed by the card when not long ago we had Kor Skyfisher at common doing the exact same thing for 1 less mana and power, and wouldn't you run Lingering Soul or Fiend Hunter on the 3cc of WW anyway

Or hell, do people even play WW in this meta?

I wouldn't call Tamiyo awful, if you're gonna use her as a 5 mana sorcery, then you'd probably be better off running Time Warp anyway. The current meta of hexproof and token aggro makes her +1 less powerful than it ought to be, but if it ever shift to more midrange decks, she'll see play
