There's a turn 8 when your deck draws you 3 teetering peaks in a row, or a turn 8 when you draw red sources with a hand of white because you had to mull down to 5. This deck gives me shit hands :/.

Type2 is really bleh atm, not that hard to go to turn 8 with bad draws from both players.

Boros does nothing turn 8. Which is what sucks BALLS.

It can always Kor Skyfisher to pickup a Ranger of Eos, tutor up a bushwhacker and vanguard (or steppe lynx if you are still hitting land drops / have a fetch in play) then swing for 3+4+2+3/4 + whatever is left in board. The deck is decently resilient. (although realistically you aren't having 9 mana let alone 8 on turn 8)

@yotevol misprinted counterspell? Any details on that? Is it just cut off or crimped? Wish I still had power...

After getting my creatures pathed and various other spot removal, and not drawing ranger = I lose. had i drawn a ranger, then yeah I prolly woulda wrecked face, but instead I got a teetering peaks Q__Q

What are you running? I made some adjustments to my boros deck and it's a little more solid. My friend made a pretty solid jund deck that is really fun.

PTQ format is Zendikar sealed, I ended playing BR (like the majority of everyone in this format lol), but had an underlying ally theme (Bala Ged Thief, the Pyromancer, and Nimana Sell Sword).

Highlights of the pool were:
1x Vampire Nighthawk
2x Bladetusk Boar
2x Hideous End
1x Surakaur Marauder
1x Blade of thr Bloodchief
1x Guul Draz Specter
1x Bala Ged Thif
1x Torchslinger

The pool was great, just didn't quite get there. I played fairly terribly also, mostly due to no sleep before hand (I hope that was the problem at least..) missing Blood Seeker triggers everywhere.

The misprinted counterspell is from a print in tempest were the machine was missing the blue color dye. So, imagine the counterspell from tempest... but, without the color blue. I've been offered as high as $500 for it. However, in that set, counterspell was an uncommon, so only 1 per sheet. Which means, only one sheet had the messed up dye and therefore only 1 counterspell like it. I've had countless people as me for it... yah right. To me, it belongs with my power cards, because of it's rarity and sentimentality.
