I think it's probably just better in RG aggro, mainly because RG aggro is a way better deck without it than infect. Rancor on a Stranglewood Geist seems pretty good.

Not sure if it was this thread but someone posted a card with artwork of a nine headed hydra off to the distance behind some fog. I think it was called Prometheus or something? If someone could post it I really like the artwork cant find it on google though....

Prerelease was pretty fun. Took a 4-0 in one of them with Ajani, 3 Murders, and a fantastic supporting cast

I ended up going 3-1. My one loss is against a local grinder who I have a horrible track record against. He's a far better player than me, and I went into our match expecting to lose so I kept some really poor opening hands. In the other rounds I didn't drop a single game.

I had a similar pool and also pulled an Ajani which I never drew once, 2 Murders, Nefarox and a bunch of exalted guys. I also had that Animate Dead sorcery that works on a creature in any graveyard and stole my opponent's Xanthid Gorgon one game which was pretty fun. B/W seems pretty strong. I had several games that went Turn 1 Exalted Land, Turn 2 Black or White Exalted Knight, Turn 3 the 2B exalted guy, swing for 5. I also got the white ring which I stuck on the 2/2 lifelinker. My opponent didn't have any removal and it got up to like a 7/7 and I was at 50 life before he just conceded.

Overall, I'm liking this limited format a lot more than 3x AVR so far.

My first sealed deck was absolutely crazy.. Had Nefarox, Sphinx of Uthuun and Nicol Bolas PW (which I ended up playing AND got into play once to the surprise of all). Ended up going 2-2 tho..

BTW, Nefarox is absolutely fucking INSANE. I'm probably gonna build a T2 deck around him and the new Liliana.

So happy with how the Pre-release here went. I traded a Battle Of Wits for a Liliana. I had a Black/Green deck that kicked all sorts of ass. I came in 8th because near the end, it got so hot in there that I couldn't focus on matches.

4-0 with G/W beats with some minor exalted didn't lose a single game all day. Yeva and green trample ring were huge performers as were the 3/3 centaurs for 3 all of which work extremely well with exalted. Trample + exalted is a pretty baller combo. This gonna be a fun set so happy to be rid of Avacyn even though it had some nice money cards.

Lost in top 4 even though we should have split. The one guy that didn't want to split lost, so I guess justice was served lol. My sealed pool was alright. Foil Chandra, Battle of Wits, Drowned Catacombs, That red phoenix thing, void stalker, faith's reward, and helion crucible. The Phoenix and Chandra were the only cards that actually did anything. I tried playing Faith's Reward but it was dead 99% of the time. The guy that lost in top 4 that wouldn't split lost to my friend that I pool with, yay store credit out the ass. It's kinda sad when derps open the best sealed pools ever and lose horribly. A guy opened ajani and sublime archangel. I think he lost in top 8 though. I anticipated losing in top 8 to a deck with Krenko and other shit, but it turns out Chandra + Volcanic Geyser is kinda good. He mulled to 5 game 2 and I Mindclawed shaman his rise from the grave for the 3/1 exalted dooder. Mad good.

I need to start diagramming the people sitting near me in a 3-4 person radius so I can pinpoint those who haven't heard of deodorant yet. Then, I don't know, slip one in their backpack or something.

In all the time I've ever played Magic, I've never opened a Planeswalker, or a foil rare/mythic card.

Since M13 has released, I have opened a foil Jace and a foil Garruk.

Karmic compensation? Who knows :D
