The misprinted counterspell is from a print in tempest were the machine was missing the blue color dye. So, imagine the counterspell from tempest... but, without the color blue. I've been offered as high as $500 for it. However, in that set, counterspell was an uncommon, so only 1 per sheet. Which means, only one sheet had the messed up dye and therefore only 1 counterspell like it. I've had countless people as me for it... yah right. To me, it belongs with my power cards, because of it's rarity and sentimentality.

Sounds cool, would love to see a picture of it. The blue dyes in Tempest were weird too, a much more aquaish color.

If you really want to, sure. Seeing nice quality power is always neat. I'm on the verge of dumping my non EDH vintage stuff since noone plays in Kansas it seems (vintage that is).

The Time Walk is seriously low valued, since it got water on it and smudged it.
But, like I said, I'm a sentimental person... lol

I think you'd be surprised how much a vintage tournament legal time walk is actually worth.

Collectors edition Black lotus is like $200, and it's not even vintage tournament legal (collectors edition in general isn't legal).

I agree with playing with the cards, but if it weren't for the sentimental value I'd be downgrading all that from Beta (Alpha?) to Unlimited since the card will do the same thing.

Some are Alpha, Beta, Unlimited and w/e.
I'd like to think of those as my playing cards, mainly because I have a few duplicates of them that I do lock away for safety.

From my earlier days, can't say how many times that cards saved my bacon!
