Shaman makes mongoose a madgoose. Also makes it bad. Also RUG is annoyingly good. Decay kills just about every relevant thing ever. I think the best thing it hits is Jitte and counterbalance.

So, I kept my Deck the way it was, did some more deck testing during some Sunday Night Magic and I kicked an insane amount of ass. I just need 6 land and I am very close to unstoppable. I faced two exalted decks and Selesnya charm destroyed them. I even pointed out the Exalted trigger just to exile the creature. Was awesome. Played against a control deck who tried his best but didn't have enough counters to keep out so much token generation. I'm debating about putting in another Terminus just for safety against Zombies and Rakdos aggro.

Sideboard could use work though. I currently have
2 Vraska
3 Golgari charm
1 Selesnya Charm
2 Pithing Needle
2 Deathrite shaman

and I don't remember the rest right now. What would be some good sideboard for the current standard meta?

Meta is really open right now so sideboarding can be tough. Off top my head theres Azorius aggro, rakdos aggro, B/G-B/R-Jund zombies, Miracles, Bant-U/W-American Control, G/W midrange, Esper-Junk tokens, Frites, Jund Midrange and thats just whats been established for far. Control is your worst match up a good control player won't bother with counters for you but will keep reseting your board with terminus, verdict and detention sphere. Taking all that in going off a broad meta this is what I would SB tune it to whatever your local meta is

3 Centaur Healer -for aggro
2 Sever the bloodline -for entreat the angels or other mass tokens, it can backfire so time it right
1 Terminus -since you said you have 2 main
2 Oblivion ring -catch all
2 Deathrite Shaman -for frites
2 Garruk Primal Hunter -good vs control hes card advantage and more dudes
3 Selesnya Keyrune -vs control its a dude that dodges terminus and supreme verdict

They just announced a new limited print run set 15 card booster packs $6.99 per booster pack, draftable set. Called modern masters. 15 mythics, 53 rares, 229 card set. First card spoiled for the set is Tarmagoyf!

Le new goyf~ moved up to mythic. I think the biggest surprise of this set is that its gonna be draftable. Fuck yeah Im'a do fairies again~

WoTC confirmed there will be no official prerelease for the set but they will leave it up to stores to decide if they want to do a event for it.

That is too bad. I will talk to my flgs and see if we can plan a pre-release for it. I bet the set would be fun in sealed and draft. I want to do both.

Right now, I'm worried that stores will be limited to around 2 boxes each, rather than worried about if we can draft it or not.

Commanders Arsenal proved that they don't quite have the grasp of what a 'limited print run' is.

As someone who has a set of goyfs but would like a set of bobs, I can't decide if I'm happy about this or not.

Also, did anyone catch the Pro Tour top 8? I thought Dredge was the worst deck ever until I saw Eggs being played.

I feel like he would have been able to win the game where he was attacking with 2 deathrite shamans instead exiling the lands from Stan's GY in response to 2nd Sunrise/Reward.

Unfortunately I'm moving this weekend so I won't be able to make it despite Philly being really close by to me.

I'm not a fan of Sealed either. I'll most likely be at Grand Prix AC though.

Edit: Never mind I see it is a different card game. That is disappointing if that is from that game and not mtg. Specially since I don't see much of a market for art from that game so I have no idea what it would be worth. Thanks. Going to go look at that collection later this week. It is huge and the lady found it in a storage locker she bought.

Thanks. Yeah I think even if the painting isn't a mtg painting I am going to go check out the collection sometime this week. It might have some worthwhile cards in it. I don't think it will be worth that much though unless it has a huge amount of older cards in it from like beta, unlimited, and the sets from around that time.
