My draft resulted in my first picking hideous end. Then the guy next to me passed me a nighthawk, and then another hideous end, and then a burning torch. I ended up with jut some sick shit. Hexmage, 2 journeys to nowhere. If you arep laying black, Crypt Ripper is a fucking house.

That's not as big of a deal, I pass fetches all the time since I have my playset. I value the prize higher because I don't crack and just redraft with prize packs.

Well, the prizes for that specific event were only for first place and it was only a playmat. 8 players total, and the entrance fee wasn't as much. The store I play at isn't huge, so our events and prize support isn't too great. I'd money draft over actual draft usually, just to pay for the event. I got first so I really made out like a fiend ;3.

Well, to be fair, it was a spur of the moment sanctioned draft since the place usually has tourneys on thursdays and it was thxgiving that thursday.

3-0'd the last draft I did, decided to force mono black (even tho it was much smarter to be B/R...), double Nighthawk and Crypt Ripper, Gatekeeper, Hideous End, Disfigure.

Notable play being Round 2, game 2:

Opponent kept a sketchy hand with 2 lands, I mul'd to a perfect 6 (Swamp x3, Hideous End, Nighthawk, Gatekeeper). Beat down to 2 before he started to stabilize (now flooded). All my creatures but a Scorpion we're Journey'd, he topdeck'd Conqueror's Pledge kicked. Then I flashed Hideous End.

I honestly wouldn't know whether to laugh, or cry, or both if I was your opponent.

lol I love toying with my opponents :>. Like, when they are at like 3 or something, but I'm tapped out and I'm at like 12. I'll just lay my hand on the table, which usually has a bolt, terminate or both or something mean and be like, "Kill me right now".

I love mindfucking with people. If they don't know me I'll pull the scrub maneuver and appear distracted and make slips to give them an extra turn to build confidence before I drop the hammer with a cold stare. Works surprisingly well for shaking people for game 2/3.

The best though is the bar right across the street from the game store. I stop there before FNM and get a pretty good buzz going before for the first round. My slurring also gets unprepared people overconfident without knowing I can still play pretty damn good drunk or sober. I probably wouldn't get away with it if it wasn't for the fact the store owner was in the same frat as my brother.

Very funny, but very wrong... lol
    Kudos to you!

When I play, I don't care what condition my opponent is, I always keep an eye on his cards in play, his theme, and how many cards in hand. But, that's just me. XD

Went 2-3 drop at States today playing a random Jund colored Eldrazi deck I built. Sideboard was made like 10mins before round 1 using whatever I thought would help (that I had). So many Jund decks there. Some deck using some card that turns lands to Islands was doing well when I left.

Esper cascade is a pretty hilarious concept, but with the amount of 3+ color deck with insane color requirement curve that relies on their nonbasic to be...well...not an island, it wins a good amount.

Ended up 5-2 at States, starting the day off not charging my phone, forgetting my wallet, then going 0-2. On the bright side I got 4 Tarmogoyfs.

I played Boros, beat 3 Jacerator, but was Archive Trap'd about 13 times in the day.

I was half joking to be honest lol, 13 cards kinda wrecks boros, since you are relying on a lot of things to push the damage through.
