Dead Drop is a MVP man. I deliberately took myself down to 2 and let almost all my guys die just to get my opp to play another guy, just so I could delve-drop them both and swing with Anafenza. The next turn I draw Necropolis Fiend.

I opened four or five out of my box while I was on lunch earlier, so far I've got a windswept heath and narset, enlightened master. Stuck at work for another hour, the wait is unbearable, haha.

I'm slowly coming to the conclusion that I can't deckbuild at all. I can either build my own decks or I can win, but I cannot do both. Today's adventures in Standard were pretty awful. Here's hoping there's some nice things waiting in my booster box tomorrow.

for notable pulls, i wound up with 2 polluted deltas, 2 windswepts, 1 foothills, a clever impersonator, a foil empty the pits, and a bunch of other stuff i'm not thinking of at the moment. overall very happy with that box, all of the fetches i got are usable in my current decks, and i've built up a decent enough card stock where i feel like i can start to piece something interesting together for standard format

i have the itch to go and get another box tomorrow :\

Drafted Sidisi, Rattleclaw Mystic, and Ivorytusk Fortress in that order. Bloodsoaked Champion was passed to me on the third pack.

On the second game of the second set, against an Abzan player, I opened with a Swamp, Forest, Island, Boodsoaked Champion, Singing Bell Strike, and Sidisi. The guy played Anafenza on turn three and killed my buzz, and I killed his with Bell Strike.

Result was 2-0-1; I split with the other 2-0 guy. Took 5 packs over credit and I pulled a Dig Through Time, foil Necropolis Fiend, and on the last pack, a Windswept Heath.

Pretty good night.

Went to FNM, bought a fat pack, pulled Rattleclaw, Savage Knuckleblade, Clever Impersonator, Butcher of the Horde, Siege Rhino, Mantis Rider among the rares.

During the draft pulled a Windswept Heath, Grim Haruspex, Empty the Pits & Temur Ascendancy. Got a Bloodstained Mire from one of the prize packs

I also had 10 packs banked at the shop from prior FNM prizes. Opened them Sunday morning & pulled another Mire, another Clever Impersonator and a FOIL Polluted Delta.

Then I won 6 months of SCG Premium during the Standard Top 8 broadcast from Jersey. At this rate I expect to qualify for PT Honolulu in the next week and then win it.

Ive been play testing my deck heavily at home in preperations this is the final build ive settled on nothing pro-tier but i should be able to go 3-1 or so for FNM.

Note:
Side board is a complete swap out to throw people off switch the deck from token overrun to burns.

Pulled a Foil Polluted Delta on Friday, as well as a couple other nice things, a few Narsets, Ankle Shankers and whatnot. Went to a KTK draft, first event I've ever played in (I've only played against two of my friends before), first match-up, dude pulled two Sorins.

I joined a sealed league at my LGS. If you don't know what it is: You buy a sealed set (6 boosters) and you fill out a sealed pool list of every card in your pool. You make a deck out of it, and then you battle other people in the sealed league. You can play everyone once a week and at the end of the league, prizes are paid out to top whatever your store does. I opened these as my rares.

hmm, i think i pulled 2 rabblemasters and also got that as my promo when i split a box of 15. what are people building with that that's causing it to go up so much?

Pretty much any standard deck with Red in it is currently running Rabblemaster. It's a must answer threat that, if ignored, will get out of hand very quickly.

Having a sealed pool with 2 walkers and a boardwipe is just dirty dirty.

First Standard since Kahns came in. 10-man, 4 round swiss with a 50 minute timer. Everyone went to time at least once, this one girl (u/w control/tokens) three times. The only guy running aggro (mono black) took first.

Whee, three coor decks, fetches, and the forced midrange.

First Khans draft and crushed first 2 rounds then split top with my buddy
Mardu warriors and was like a bad mini version of the deck I want to make constructed playable
13 warriors including blood soaked champion, both half lords, couple flying morph warriors
Raider's Spoils was so gooooooooood
Giant flying delve demon and the flying delve bird warrior
2 kill shots and that kill 4 power or greater.

Those flying morphers are ridiculous and annoying. I love them.

Morph in general is <3

Joke's on you. I traded into a promo playset right away(because goblins!) and second playset of normal ones shortly thereafter. It's piledriver 2.0 so I'm not sure how it was ever sitting at less than $10.

One guy at my store bought a truckload of 'em back when they were $2 each. Now I'm wishing I'd had that kind of foresight.
