If it costed 1 less and had landfall draw 1 for each land, then it would be playable. End of turn, crack a fetch or two draw 4 for 4. Would be nice :/.

I think Lodestone Golem is a pretty cool guy eh, obsoletes Juggernaut and isn't afraid of anything.
But seriously, Stax just got insane.
like Vampires really need too much more. they pull this little spell out of WWK
Urge to Feed BB
Instant [u]
Target creature gets -3/-3 until end of turn. You may tap any number of untapped Vampires you control. If you do, put a +1/+1 counter on each of those Vampires.
just realized... can put Nighthawk out of Bolt range with it.
The reverse plat angel is fucking amazing.
Let's make a 6/6 flying trampler for 4 where the only drawback is you'd eventually need to get rid of it...on a color where you can easily find a sac effect.
Xanthrid demon goooo
I just found my cards from OLS MD5 type2.... so far 5 fetch lands TEN Aether Vials 3 chalices 4 Chrome moxes 3 arcbound ravagers and 17 skullclamps to name a few of the money cards... hahahahaha
is affinity even dominant enough in the eternal format to make those cards fetching that high of values?
Affinity is still viable in extended. But not as much as it used to be![]()
Most of those cards aren't for affinity. Mirrodin had so many crazy cards like chalice, engineered explosives, mox, Aether Vial etc.. Probably the best set ever made. Plus I'm one of the few people who actually got to play a skullclamp in a competitive tournament! After a price check I'm staring at over 1k in this fucking box.

The only card I'm even kind of excited about.
Man, that thing helps a lot with those mana pockets too. It may be played, we'll see.
I plan to build extended cascade swans just because of it.
That sounds kinda hot to be honest.![]()
The only thing I'm trying to do is get the manabase to not suck balls cost wise. 41 mostly rare lands is a bitch.
Mmmm manlands :3. Mutavaults should be cheaper now, at least. Same with reflecting pool. Shouldn't be too much of a big deal imo. Although dual lands are pretty pricey now, since extended is in season.
Mutavaults get played as far back as legacy and reflecting pools haven't dropped at all. I have a few shock lands. If I were really serious about the deck it would probably be mostly shock lands and fetches.
Swans should be able to get away with a lot of filter lands, are you just going to port the standard list since Chain of Plasma isn't legal anymore?
edit> Life from the Loam seems pretty decent, no? Although I guess you want to go fo the one shot kill also, so maybe not. Just remember you have to have control or win by turn 4, thanks to one drop Zoo.
The real problem comes in when nothing can cost less than 4 mana from the standard list. I'm not innovative enough to go rogue.
Does it not play Seismic Assault?
