That is very good speculation. I like the idea. Those would be really great for decks that need colorless mana right away and can waste a turn later in the game to put the counter on the land to activate it and produce colored mana.

I see two interesting elves a black elf that you can tap and pay 1 life for green mana or you can tap to give an elf deathtouch or the green black elf that hits your opponent for life equal to the amount of elves you control. Both of those look really cool imo.
