New mulligan rule being tested out at the upcoming Pro Tour Origins.

Short version is after players have finished taking mulligans, anyone who did take a mulligan can proceed to scry 1 before the game begins.

Interesting rule change. I wonder what effect it will have on how aggressively people mulligan. In the article it states that they want to decrease the amount of non-interactive games that result from mulligans (read mana screw/flood even after mulligan) I wonder how much this will actually help.

jesus, seems like prices on anything remotely playable in modern have gone batshit insane. i was thinking of putting together tinfins since i already have most of it (sans duals of course), but goryo's vengeance quadrupled over the last week or so. think i'll wait for that to settle back to saner levels.

Welcome to modern season and post modern masters. The first MM set did this too, it brought in new players to the point where it counteracted its own increase in supply. I wish I had the money to drop on a play set of 'goyfs they would be a good investment right now because they are going to go back up very soon.

Well with the 5 mana black dude that poops out a 5/5 flier and the fact that you can block and sac and just net card advantage along with other token producers... I dunno, it seems super powerful. It's kinda clunk and a little slow. It's no survival, but it seems like it could be a strong engine for greenx decks.

Played some sealed origins with a friend who had some prize packs to open. It is a fun set I enjoyed it. I want to see how it does in draft now.

Draft was kinda fun. 3-0d the easiest draft I ever did. Even picked money cards too. My deck was pretty good though, I'm pretty sure most of the people at my LGS aren't very good at card evaluation. CE is a pretty difficult thing to get down though

bored at work and googled this story up; all I can say without starting a shitstorm is that I'd rather hang out with a guy like Zach Jesse than a guy like Drew Levin any day of the week, from what I read.
