Miracles is probably Reanimator's worst matchup.

The delver matchup is certainly winnable depending on what colors they are. What does your sideboard look like?



The Omni guy actually got 9th at GP New Jersey (3500+ person tournament), so not just some random guy.

my main issue with delver is that i can never power through the countermagic. every time i've been in that matchup it's just a neverending stream of counters, and unless i can go off T1 with force backup i never get a chance to resolve anything.

the board i brought today was:

Abrupt Decay x3
Pithing Needle x2
Chain of Vapor
Echoing Truth
Leyline of the Void
Null Rod
Massacre
Pernicious Deed
Keranos, God of Storms
Empyrial Archangel
Ashen Rider
Iona, Shield of Emeria

probably cutting the keranos, it's just too situational and pretty slow even if you do find yourself in a situation where you actually need to pick him. empyreal might get the axe too, i haven't found it to be terribly relevant in any matches i've played. might try and squeeze in some discard to bring in, also considering sticking in helm since RiP is pretty prevalent.

Thinking about building a new legacy delver deck that doesn't require 'goyfs any suggestions? Only cards I am missing that are regularly played would be 'goyf and JTMS. I have most everything else.

Definitely grixis delver. It is arguably the best version right now.

Same here. I only play with JP/CN/KR cards, but they will be good trade fodder.

These aren't going to ding the prices of the originals in the slightest and the price of every other chase rare in BFZ will be lowered by people cracking packs by the case.

The math will be something like one of the full art foils per every 8 boxes? Shit is gonna be crazy expensive.

And its ALL 10 of both shock lands and fetches.....I imagine each fetch will be around 200 at launch and get to 800-2000 in a couple of years?

Precisely why it's done. Hasbro looks very unfondly on it's subsidaries if they don't meet sales estimates, although shit like this tends to be trading casuals being annoyed for an upswing in collectors buybuybuying.

This really worries me that they won't reprint them at rare now because "hey we did reprint them and you had a chance to get them" ugh. I like the idea as long as they still reprint them normally in another set.

Are you sure that all 10 fetches are being printed? I assumed they'd be doing enemy colors only since ally pairs were just in khans. If it is 10 shocks and 10 fetches I wonder what the other five spots will be.
