That's what I get for misreading it... But I'd rather just put in one plains and 4 arid mesas and splash path

B/R seems a little better since blightning is fucking crazy good. So is terminate. It's easier to splash black as it is, with dragonskull summit and the new manland. Kinda sucks that the new r/b manland is poopdick though :/.
Terminate can't touch Kor Firewalker which is all I'm worried about. I think it's already Rg for Sarkhan Vol
Well, there's also that B/R goblin that is pro whiteSplashing black also means Malikar Bloodwitch :O.
Pro white doesn't help me with fire walker!
What, you can attack through it lol. And they can't do shit to it. You havea 4/4 flier, and they poke you for 2 a turn? Oh man. Also, basilisk collar is gunna be so OP.
I don't want to attack through it, I want to kill it.
Block it with a blood witch. I doubt they'd ever attack with it unless you were tapped out anyways.
I really just want to get it off the table asap. Not as worried about it attacking me really.
I'm too lazy at this moment to look, but is there really no colorless options to deal with Kor Firewalker?
Other than quicksand? I don't think so >.>;
I second (third?) the notion of splashing black, Deathmark is all types of good.
Quicksand requires them to be attacking, Sadly there is no serrated arrows in the current standard.
How about a pair of Razor Boomerangs on two creatures?
Or, 1 Razor Boomerang, 5 mana, and two untapped creatures.
Oh shit, nevermind, it would still come from a red source. Or slap the boomerangs on some fuckin' Pilgrim's Eyes or some crap?
A bit of a stretch, I suppose, but I am all for mono-colored.
Razor Boomerang is no viridian longbow![]()
I'm already Rg BTW for Sarkhan Vol
Worldwake has a bunch of fun little things that make me want to make a casual Worldslayer deck.
Terra Eternal, Wind Zendikons, Stoneforge Mystics, Creeping Tar Pits...
Not to mention Worldslayer remains one of the most flavorful cards ever
Also, are vampire decks viable at all in competition? I feel like there's just too much synergy with all the vampires in this block to pass up... Not to mention you can easily use Abyssal Persecutor when you pair it with a timed Anowon, the Ruin Sage. If so, what would you splash to avoid Marsh Threaders, Devout Lightcasters, and other bull?
edit: and now, thinking about it... since Worldslayer destroys "all permanents," it would also destroy Terra Eternal as well as any Zendikon auras. That would still allow all the lands to survive though, right? Since the "destroy all permanents" happens all at once.
Vampires are pretty good assuming you use a solid build
As far as I know it would protect your lands. As they wouldn't lose indestructibility until Terra Eternal left play at wich point the worldslayer ability would have resolved. If I remember correctly people tried something similar in mirrodin block with shield of kaldra. It was cute but not great, of course you had to deal with affinity then too.
That reminds me, I pulled a foil creeping tar pit I should trade. From some reason it's a local drool card :/
It's probably the best new man land.
