It will be an unactivated Celestial Collonade
It will be an unactivated Celestial Collonade
Not to mention, I believe it would come into play tapped as well...?
Yeah rofl
I learned that rule the hard way when I tried to Nemesis Trap a Wind Zendikon and just got an island token lol. Still 4-0ed that Sealed Flight though. Turns out opening chain reaction, hellkite Charger, anowan the ruin sage, and a host of removal makes it hard to lose. And in case anyone was the least bit unsure chain reaction is a house in limited. Watching them curve out turns 1-4 and then dropping it is just too much fun. Especially when you follow it right up with an Anowon :D
30 person draft tonight. WW/WW/Zen, I drafted poorly into monoblue (loool).
Got 2nd place.
Fuck yeah.
MVP of the night -> Treasure hunt drawing me 7 cards, the 7th being a trust machete. Fuuuuck yeah,.
Anyone see this yet? my 4 Eye of Ugin's are gonna skyrocket in price, lol.

Mehhhh
Why do I feel like it should say "When Kozilek, Butcher of Truth enters the battlefield, draw 4 cards" ? Even if it gets countered you get the effect eh?
Looks good in Hypergenesis.. kind of.
Limited bomb. NOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM
RoE will have to be slow as hell for this to make a splash
I can 1up that. Not only did I open it, I bought 2 more because I thought that was how you get the planeswalkers... (took a lot of looking to figure out what the Planeswalker set really was, and boy was I pissed) 1600 cards, only 550 of which I can use...
Since I'm obviously a Magic noob (played a tad like a decade ago), what are some good general deck focus points? Everything I have is mostly a conglomeration or random commons with a few uncommons/rares. I've had pretty good luck with a black/red deck but it seems every other color I try to build comes out as a steaming pile of shit (spent all day get stomped on a blue/white deck saturday).
You should try out pauper magic. The current formats are so fucked up with 60 dollar cards that it is no fun to play them![]()
I am predicting a bunch of Rise of the Eldrazi permanents having shit like:
"If you sacrifice this card, all kinds of good shit happens to you."
to make all that "Annihilator" shit not so ridiculous, as well as bring some interest back to big sacrifice-upkeep/costs in standard... like anything with Devour, Xathrid Demons, Harrow, Vampire Aristocrat, etc.
Standard competitive is always going to have high priced cards.
Baneslayer is main decked in... one Tier 1 deck right now? (in GWB Junk if you call that tier 1. LSV runs 1 maindeck in Boss Naya right now with 1 in the side). Rest sit in sideboards.
There were a total of 6 Baneslayers in the Top 8 of PT: San Diego. 2 of those were in the sideboard.
I'm just bitter about the whole mythic rare thing.
