It's definitely a powerful combo, Armageddon + 3/2 hastey guy is pretty hacks. Then again, 20/20 swinging on turn 3 are too.![]()

Was the canonist just not enough against the elves or did you not see it?
WIld Nacatl
EDIT: Oh wow, l2refresh. Disregard that lol.
Played it turn 2, he answered with Viridan Shaman. Was stuck on 3 lands from there on out (shouldn't of Boom'd my stupid black land away), and just couldn't quite get there. He got an active Jitte, killed my pridemage as I was sac'ing (misplay by me), and I had to use KotR to constantly cycle lands, in order to play the 3 BBE in my hand. They just didn't find an answer.
I brought in 2 Ancient Grudge, 2 Jitte, 4 Canonist for 3 Bloodmoon, 3 Temporal Isolation, 2 Boom//Bust.
Probably as he was sacing a fetchland while it was targetted by boom.
Oh sorry, that was kind of unclear. I had earlier Boom'd away Bokuja Bog and a Forest, because he was missing land drops. This kept me at 3 lands, him 2. The board state was me with Knight of the Reliquary, Noble Hierarch, and Qasali Pridemage, Stomping Grounds, Forest (tapped), Sacred Foundry (tapped to cast Pridemage). My hand was Lightning Helix, Bloodbraid Elf, Bloodbraid Elf. I helix'd his Elvish Archdruid my main phase, leaving his board Boreal Druid, Llawnowar Elf, Nettle Sentinel with Jitte equipped @2 counters, and an Arbor Elf.
What I should have done, was just blow the Jitte up my main phase, forcing him to kill my hierarch, but instead I did it on his turn, using KotR to fetch a land.
The totem armors are going to be HOUSE in limited...
Seriously? Cascade looks at ony one of the two casting costs of a dual card?
I had the understanding that any time a "converted casting cost" is ever looked at, you added both sides for dual cards, and the maximum amount of a color/colorless hybrid cost. Like what's-his-face said earlier, that's a fucked rule. Dual cards should have the drawback of having a massive combined converted casting cost for reasons like that.
I forget though, what's the up-side of having cards with huge converted casting costs? I know there's a few things out there that benefit from it.
Bah, Scourge is all permanents in play junk...
Anyhow, looks like Rebound and Totem Armor are the new mechanics eh? Rebound is a little bit clunky, but good for Instants... and "Totem Armor" is a crappy name.

Hmm...
Being more of a limited guy I'm more worried about the fact that they haven't shown a guy that costs less than 5. If an uncommon 11 cmc dude has an impact on draft it is going to make it very unfun.
Also if they do it wrong Rebound will be insane in limited. Although I forsee them doing things like Gain 4 life or deal 2 damage.
U Draw 1 card. Rebound. Please Please Please Please Please.
Instant would be amazing. Wonder how this works with Iso Scepter.. gonna guess you won't get the Rebound effect.
You cast the copied card so it does resolve... The rebound works. Also it's a shame Echo was already taken as a keyword.
Edit: NVM "Cast from hand"
