Yeah, "cast from hand" covers a lot of their bases. Plus, I don't think Rebound can mechanically be printed on anything other than Instants or Flash spells.

If it's a sorcery, you wouldn't be able to rebound it during your next upkeep because you can only cast a sorcery during your main phase...

At first blink, I thought Totem Armor was going to be an in-set answer to Annihilator. Obviously wrong about it, but on top of that, it could make an on-the-table Eldrazi (or any other fatty) a bitch to get rid of.

It could be printed on a sorcery. It replaces the main phase rule, if there is ever a rule conflict, the card always wins. Same reason you can go Bituminous Blast > Bloodbraid Elf> Blightning on the other players draw step and make baby Jesus cry.

I knew the "golden rule" but I felt like it was a lot more foggy than something like "you can't win the game" when they say that you can cast something from exile during your next upkeep. To me, that wording makes it sound like the card is there for you to cast for free if it was a time you normally could, like the same as being in your hand, which a sorcery couldn't. Obviously it would be not alright to play Prey's Vengeance from exile with no creatures in play...

I just forsee all the Rebound stuff either costing 1.75 times as much as the same effect without Rebound, or the effect being 30% weaker than it's Reboundless counterpart. Nothing really exciting unless it has some crazy synergy with something else.

Also, I guess this was floating around for a while and was just deemed a fake thanks to Doug Beyer's article today about the 3 Eldrazi Titans and their naming.

That card was confirmed fake, that could be a real Eldrazi though. The sad thing is none of these cards are gonna have any real effect on the big bad wolf in standard yet.

I'm excited. Equipment cards were a great addition to the game during our first trip to Mirrodin and I hope this brings us plenty more.

Mirrodin is the set that made me quit. With that said they should totally reprint skullclamp.

Darksteel was the one that made me quit. Fucking Ravager. I welcome potentially broken artifacts since I no longer play Standard.

Alara leaving will definitely be a good thing for Standard.

I've decided to spend my 1337 post on you wonderful people with a spicy decklist I haven't tested yet but seems good in the meta. It's my first foray into "Combo aggro" if there is such a thing. I mentioned it a few days ago but it was just an idea.

4x Bazaar Trader
4x Goblin Chieftain
4x Goblin Guide
4x Siege-gang Commander
4x Bloodbraid Elf

4x Mark of Mutiny
4x Act of Treason
4x Sarkhan Vol (Not sure if right)
4x Lightning Bolt

Land

4x Rootbound Crag
4x Raging Ravine
15x Mountain
1x Forest

SB needs an answer to Kor Firewalker. I'd also probably put Chandras in there for the control matchup. Also thinking of a transformational sideboard into a RDW if the maindeck can't build jund.

I'm currently amassing tix in daily events by playing jund so I should be able to build this soon. I just like that it's a combo where there isn't a bad piece on it's own.

I think you could make a better choice of a card over Bazaar trader but that's just my opinion cause i don't see anything that would give you any functionality of the card.

SB against Firewalker = unstable footing.

Oh sorry, I should have explained. That's the combo. If I use a ray of command effect (have 12) and then while I control it target that creature and me with Bazaar Trader then I gain control of the creature indefinitely.

Yea Unstable footing was one of the options I was thinking of.

The only problem with it being I'll basically be 2 for 1ing myself every time I do that. I think quicksand will be just as strong really, if they don't attack with it a dragon's claw is going to break my deck.

Pretty much just a predetermined pool of cards to make a draft out of, I believe.

Can make one out of any format, just takes out all the crappy cards and all the way-overpowered cards to make things more level/fun/etc.
