I like slower sets/formats. Shit that hyperaccelerates the game and dumps massive 10+ mana cost creatures out for next to free in the first few turns makes it not fun.

(perhaps I just don't like shuffling frequently)

Lots of nice EDH additions. I'll like the Echo guy in my Nicol Bolas deck. Copying Cruel Ultimatum will be "fun".

And I agree about the demon, I'd rather just see pestilence reprinted. This guy is a bomb in limited though.

Sphinx would be much better if it was 3UU for a 5/5 instead of 3UUU for a 6/6. The triple Blue makes it hard to splash outside mono-blue.

God cards and a bunch of cards that have no hope of making it into constructed because they are ridiculously slow. It's just a waste of a set.

Yeah it seems like this whole set consists of cards that do amazing things but are way too expensive to use.

They've only spoiled a few things. I'm sure there's going to be constructed viable stuff. They probably haven't spoiled it yet so people aren't comming up with competitive decks before the set is live.

Tricen pretty much hit the nail on the head. They've probably spoiled 30-40ish cards so far, out of a 248 set. I understand the urge to bitch about what's been revealed so far, but that's barely a reason to condemn the entire set.

Also, the Orb of Insight has 2 instances of "pestilence." I am pretty sure they are reprinting the enchantment, that would be awesome for wiping out all Eldrazi Spawn.
