It triggers when it is declared as an attacker, and then resolves if both people pass priority.

Another question:
When does Rize of Elzradi become legal for standard?
Next week
Sorry guys, but another question (we are playtesting, and neither of us have played since Nationals 99 lol)
If a Baneslayer blocks a 2/2 does the Baneslayer owner gain 5 life or 2? Ty again :X
Edit: Oh.....when the fuck did so many old cards get expensive (not talking P9 / obvious cards here).....
Force of Will...I used to have about 15 signed ones....they were 4 dollars then...now 50!? Goblin Lackey $10!?!?!? Mox Diamond 50!? (WHY?!) Gaea's Cradle 50!? (Had them foil signed by Richard Garfield for fuck's sake....)
5 damage will be assigned to the blocker, and 5 life will be gained.
Pretty sure it's immediately when they are declared an attacker. So, consider them 1/1 stronger than they initially are.
Well, it's a trigger ability, so you can respond to it and stuff, before it gets the counter.
Edit- You posted the same time as me, and answered my new question lol.
Edit 2:
For Jund, I am thinking:
-2 Rampant Growth
+2 Vengevine
-1 Putrid Leach
+1 Abyssal Persecutor (Why isn't this already played when Jund has so many ways of dismissing it?)
argument for persecutor is that there will be time when you don't find removal to off it after it kills your opponent, and that will buy the opponent time to win the game they would otherwise lose.
and if you're holding the removal for the sake of killing it, you'd be forced to make the less than optimal play for its sake.
But yeah, being a turn 4 game ender otherwise is a pretty good argument for it though.
Japanese dude at top 8 PT San Diego had 0 Explore or Rampant Growth...I'll playtest all options throughout the week I suppose.
Through about 50 games, Explore has been a dead card and a horrible top deck.
Edit - Trace of Abundance looks pretty nifty
FoW is arguably one of the most useful cards in the entire game, so yeah it's a bit expensive.
It was excellent 10 years ago and was only $4 lol.
Edit -
Decided to say screw the Abyssal. I also don't seem to find Vengevine very solid for Jund...but Momentous Fall...hmmm...what do you guys think?
