U/W(/r) took the top spot from Jund, but luckily Jund beats up all the decks that beat UW so, yeh.
Probably, but the Islandwalk from Lord is usually enough to get it through.
If anyone has many of the staple Mythics for sell, I will buy them if the price is right (if it is similar to online prices, I will go via Ebay):
Jace
Baneslayer
Elstpeth
Ajani
Gideon
Thanks~
Ajani V, I'm sure. Goldmane is seeing pretty much 0 play right now.
Making sure, might be willing to trade/sell the one I have if my brother doesn't make up his damn mind soon.
Also; need some advice on a new deck. Wanting to do B/R/U mill deck but not really sure which direction to take it. Something like Creeping Tarpits, Sedraxis Specters, Blightning, Thought Hemorrage, etc.
I've been having fun with a U/W/G ally mill deck as of late. Its fun for casual or competative pretty cheap to put together as well. Just keeping track of how many cards to drop or adding counters onto allies can get a bit annoying XD
21 dice rolls
I once put together a G/W/B Thallid deck for casual. After a few Doubling Seasons it gets to the point you need a calculator to keep track of the hundreds of fungus counters and tokens being made.
Also is anyone else seeing Mythic Conscription as a consistent winner? If so I might just make it since I already have the money cards just lying around.
It's pretty much strictly better than regular mythic and regular mythic was on the verge of T1. Add that to the fact that jund is kind of slowing down and UW is taking over which usually dorsn't even have that many paths and yea, it's probably pretty good. Just remember to maindeck 4 dauntless escorts.
Throw in Intruder Alarm/Vitalize and you can keep them untapped. Opposition for a lock. Goblin Bombardment/Altar Of Dementia/Blasting Station and get infinite pewpew.
Oh exploitable.
Ended having to play Jund after the person with Mythic arrived 5 minutes before the event. So better safe than sorry, I registered up Jund. Went 5-2 getting 14th, second loss was in round 6 to Mythic after some horrible misplays by myself in game 1. Still did OK, but unsure what to play next week at the National Qualifiers.
Our top 8 was:
U/W control, carmate of mine
Jund
Jund
Mythic
Mythic
U/W/r control
Time Sieve
and not sure on 6th because U/W/r beat it too quickly.
Gerry T was playing Jund and made it to at least the semi's versus U/W/r. My carmate lost to Time Sieve because that deck just wrecks control. Time Sieve could be an appealing option, but I did trade for a bunch of cards in Mythic.
Time Sieve is what I'm gonna start running.
