Of course we did, and I wrecked it every time. The hand has to play out perfectly for this new jund to beat old jund. Don't like it at all.

I'll probably end up playing Mythic tomorrow for the National Qualifier, but I do really like Geopede Jund.

Ever consider swapping Doom Blade for Executioner's Capsule? Completely own's Polymorph if that is popular in your meta.

Alies, RDW, Mythic, Baneslayer, OK vs. Poly, White Weenie (meh lol), WG Vengevine

That card is great vs. Emrakul or Iona though.....damn.

I think I would replace the Stags for 2 of those before the Doom Blades?

Against Poly I have 3 Duress and 2 THought Hem; is this not enough?

Capsule is also not a dead cascade versus an empty board. Polymorph runs the most counters in the format, generally you are not resolving a Doom Blade on their Polymorph target.

Generally, you are not resolving Thought Hemorrhage. Duress is fine.

I played a standard burn deck in extended last night and managed to make top 8 with it. Lost to a guy i played in the prelims playing an elemental deck. Ran into a manaclump and i was pretty much screwed lol.

Well round where i live its not unusual to make top 8 every week when there's only like 20 or so people playing. >.>

I guess the shop just goes with w/e the program suggests he does. Usually its top 8 though.
