Actually Allies, RDW, Time Sieve, Polymorph, and Vamps all do very well compared to the retardedly priced counterparts you just mentioned. (Ok, Jund isn't that bad to buy)

Hell my R/G Eldrazi deck I brought last week did decent and that was just meant to be a joke theme deck. While Super Friends, Mythic, and Jund win basically everything in first place, there are a huge amount of decks that can still do well at FNMs. Tourneys will only see 4-5 deck types in the top 8 but of the 35-40 people at my local FNM there are probably 10 to 15 unique decks.

But with the removal you mentioned, I see the same issue with that deck in general, which is why I believe 4 spell pierce and 4 Deprives is a must for it.

Say what you want, but you do NOT want to play Allies or Vamps at a larger thourney than FNM. Anything can top 8 at FNM because you can simply just outplay your average opponent.

Vampires is an awful deck, and Allies is even worse.

Current sideboard cards:

Consume the Meek
Consuming Vapors
Pyroclasm
Day of Judgement

All absolutely wreck those deck by themselves.

Polymorph is the only decent one you mentioned, and people are figuring it out more and more. Slave of Bolas, Blue "Gain control of target creature" card, Thought Hemorage, etc all beat it single-handedly. Oh, Oblivion Ring beats Emrakul? lol

There's that new better one. 4U, you control creature, bounce a land at the beginning of your upkeep. Pretty ballin with halimar depths

How does pro-colors not stop mind control and O. ring? Or do you have super special magic-land colorless O. rings and M.C.s? Tel. Performance I get, as it isn't targeted.

I'm not sure about mind control(seems like Emrakul should be immune to that), but O. Ring works because Emrakul has Pro-colored spells, not pro-colors. When O. Ring targets, it's a permanent.

Edit: Double checking I don't know of any blue card that can steal Emrakul unless you shift an aura with Aura Finesse or something.

Ah, ok I had to grab an O. Ring and Emrakul and reread it. That makes sense now, and I was fairly sure Mind Control wouldn't work, never bothered with O. Ring on him as I figured it worked the same.

The problem with pauper aggro decks is they're usually just strictly worse than goblins. Although I've top 8ed a few challenges with straight burn. Aiming 6 lightning bolt effects at someones head is a blast (and a fire blast ftw)

Gonna run my new Naya allies deck tomorrow night. Play tested it already some and it seems to hold up. I have a feeling i won't get too far but then again my local shop isn't super competative.

On a side not made it to top 4 tonight with naya allies. Lost to blue white control but i did hold my own til i lost steam after like turn 6. Did beat 2 RDW's though.

Placed 2nd with Valukut losing to a Jund after plowing through some of the worst matchups ever; Super-spread'em, WW, Jund, and Superfriends. Maindecking AIDs has proved to be a major success. Nothing like killing the gas on Allies, WW, and Spread'em while drawing bombs nearly every turn.

Still hilarious to do something as simple as dropping a land and doing 3/6/9 damage or playing Harrow for 6/12/18 damage. Still though, a hard deck to steer with very little room for mistakes.

In 5 weeks of returning to Magic I've managed to get basically 8-12 of everything. The current standard format is so bad though....need big changes in next standalone set.
