Also, I called W/G after I saw the new Elspeth, too bad I only called it in my head. Awakening zone + monument + elfdrazi + new elspeth + maybe wolfbriar elemental just for shit and giggles.

Ironically both of the new planeswalkers seem bad in UW control. Elspeth might be good if there is a token deck.

Venser will be used in it for sure. You can flicker your own Wall of Omens for card advantage and I've also heard people talking about flickering Aether Adept and Journey to Nowhere.

Elspeth I can see being used since she wipes the board the turn after she hits play (assuming she doesn't get hit). The biggest thing is the 5cc of each, but I don't think that's too horrible in T2. Would like it better if they had a 4cc like Jace so they could be playable in Legacy.

Is there any way to play it online against a decently intelligent AI or on xbox / PS3 at all? I'd like to get back into it just because I miss the game and it's a good way to pass time without getting too involved (MMOs, lol) but I refuse to actually go out and spend money on decks and shit like I did when I was younger.

I haven't played since the first generation of sliver decks were the up and coming thing.

If you wanna play online I assume you'd rather play humans instead of AI or you wouldn't specify online... Magic Workstation. It's what I use. It's kinda buggy, but it's free, and outside of the random drops, it's pretty good. If you do get it, PM me and we can have a match :D I've been looking for opponents. (There are many servers for people to gather and play games... But sometimes pubs are like a pick up group meripo with a PLD and a white mage on greater colibri.)
