There's only really 1 guy that plays Zoo where I play and he hasn't been there for awhile. Plus everyone is expecting me to play UG Survival since I've been dominating with it since I started playing it.

If both players in a game had a mimic vat in play and a creature is killed.... how do you know who gets it? Flip a coin? XD

Depends on who's turn it is. If it is your turn, yours with trigger first followed by your opponents, so your opponents will resolve first. If it is not your turn, then your opponents will trigger first and yours will resolve first.

Any simultaneous triggers from different controllers go on the stack in AP-NAP order. Active player (the guy who's turn it is) places all of his triggers on the stack, in any order he chooses, and then the non active player does the same. Stack resolves top down, and always causes the non active player's triggers to resolve first.

I have begun to believe that Valakut is the worst deck in my meta. I have to mulligan a lot, or my deck shits on me. Most of my matchups are Edlrazi Green, U/X control, or some ultra aggressive deck. I am tempted to play U/B control... Anyone have any suggestions?

imo Elves + vengevine is current top in the meta, with U/B Control as a second, maybe WW Argentum as second. Valakut is not very strong, it's worse than W/U control, but the deck almost plays itself, so it is popular as the skill quotient is much lower. There are less choices, and less options.

RUG did fantastic for me in FNM. Chewed through my Vakakut Titan deck a friend was using, through Elfdrazi, All-In Red, wtfAscention, and RDW for an easy 1st with 10-1-0.

Valakut might be fairly easy to play, but nowhere near as hurrdurr easy as Jund. Or I-Play-JMS-I-Win

And the current T1 decks are pretty much Valakut, Boros, and UB/RUG Control, and RDW with each leading 6-12% higher win over the other decks. Elves are just too easily shut down with Pyroclasm, Day, CTM, and standard burn packages, even with venge.

I've gone like 24-2-2 with U/B Control since the rotation, and maybe 1-2 of those only were against rogue decks.

With elves it's too easy to beef toughness past pyroclasm range, regen from Renegade Leader takes care of DoJ, regen or activating the +3/3 trample defensively takes care of burn, Eldarazi Monument takes care of Consume the Meek. They can ramp, they can swarm, Genesis Wave can be a game ender. I prefer to play U/B Control, but Elves are always my toughest matchup.

Lame I know, but next friday were having a melee everyone vs everyone. Most likely tables of 4 or more. You can only attack the person on your left, and only be attacked by the person on your right.
