Yes burn parties have been around for a long time, but they weren't the standard way to level. Everyone that has the right job will be aiming to level in a TP burn party. If you don't have the right job you sync or campaign.

There is no such thing as a non burn party after 70 any more.

You misquoted me, you neglected to include the next line about the Tank getting the spell thrown back at them. Low HP is good for BLM, as they can kill them fast (look at puddings <4.5k HP), but not if the mobs is throwing back everything you cast on it.
