Definitely BRD.

As long as you aren't rythm retarded there should be no problems. It's cheep, easy and everyone will love you for it. The best part about lvling BRD is that your party ALWAYS has a BRD (and therefore very seldomn sucks)! I suggest getting the plugin 'Yarnball' if you dont use it already, it's a godsend for BRD/COR/RDM.

BLU and COR have been my two favorite jobs to level. BLU I had a friend to level with, though, so we duo'd frequently. Nothing like killing colibri as a duo while people your level are still partying on them.

COR is extremely useful end game, and I also had a lot of fun leveling it. Shooting gil in a shitty party is kind of a downer, but you're a quasi-BRD so you're allowed to be picky.

You neglected to mention what your goals are. Do you want to help your linkshell, have an easier time getting merit invites, work on your Maat cap, open up some more NMs you'd be able to solo/duo, or just have fun?

BRD is great for your linkshell and for merits, but it's not going to allow you to solo/duo anything new. DNC can solo some interesting stuff but won't help you get a Maat cap. You get the idea.

One could argue that almost any job can be useful to the LS. It's all a question of the extent of their usefulness.

Corsair is more fun to play than bard with the luck based element of the job, and you get to do some damage AND be help buff your linkshell.

Blue Mage is as much fun as i've had leveling all 20 of the jobs, and i continue to play and enjoy it. You can solo skillchain for your LS, and/or do SataCBs.

Blue Mage is also the only job that can provide substantial damage of all types; blunt, piercing, and slashing. It can deal decent magic damage as well with multiple different elements, either with Intelligence, Mind, or Charisma based magic or HP based breaths. It can solo every Skillchain, with Swords and Clubs, and Magic Burst them too.

Qualifying that last statement. Meriting on BRD makes me want to stab myself/the rest of the party but the rest of the job is very fun.

If it were me I'd go COR. In-demand support job, plus you get to tote a gun and do some decent damage, plus the yo-ho-ho factor. It's all win.

Honestly, if you want a quick job to 75, BRD is the way to go. You can start "leeching" on merit parties at 54. Obviously, you have to be the non-pulling BRD, which is a bit more boring.

SCH is pretty damn useful and you can follow the BLM solo route.
