Which means cancel it, not flush more money down the train recasting a show nobody will watch. I believe Futurama would cost a lot given the long, long resumes of their entire cast. Despite what's likely a profitable show for them a margin dwarfed by their reality programming makes FOX pull a Nintendo and throw its smaller audiences to the side while courting the preteen crowd and their unlimited capacity to run up phone bills calling in to vote for that gay dude on American Idol.

Precisely. Fox does anything for ratings since they don't have another cash cow like the Simpsons (can you imagine a Simpsons spin-off starring Flanders and Milhouse?) used to be. Now they're trying to be edgy and, just like SE, think they're giving fans what they want.

Fans don't want the Futurama name. They want the show.

Agreed, but as a friend who works in this industry was explaining it to me I don't think they give much of a damn about the Futurama fan boys like me and yourself and are more worried about if the average viewer will still tune in and find the show funny and doesn't care about the voices.

I'm sure these will be 2bit actors they found out in somewhere in New Jersey, to try and replace one of the funniest shows actors that has ever graced television, and will fail horribly at it and wind up wasting more money by trying to drag it out and sully the good name of Futurama. Are Network Stations only good at making bad reality tv shows now?
