Apparently I got banned for the BRP rule. Waiting on someone to explain how so and what the BRP rule even means anymore. It was a "General Discussion-Only" rule(doesn't seem to exist anymore), even if I had broken it.


There is more to that, but I am not sure if it is worth bothering posting all the PMs.


EDIT: Oh also apparently I am the most reported poster on Blue Gartr. I have to wonder why. Also I guess I have some sick hook-ups I know nothing about because I have had 0 infractions.

I'd say there's no real point to continuing the discussion, then. I often have a hard time comprehending most of your arguments, including this one, and I don't know how you could believe I was dismissing the idea of a casual gaming genre.

There's apparently implied sarcasm in your posts at times, but I can't tell the difference, unless it's blatantly obvious. You use terms you don't like, and wind up having to explain yourself in detail later on, which to me means you're not relying on your own context enough. You've said yourself that you use terminology other people do to supposedly be understood by them, but that should not be necessary if your argument comes across clearly. It doesn't to me, and I have a lot more knowledge of the industry than most, so I can see why it's completely lost on the average poster.

I believe you'd benefit from a tighter, more concise delivery whenever you talk about things.

I'll try to avoid the casual and hardcore terms in the future, but what I expect is "nuh-uh BRP, WIKIPEDIA uses casual and hardcore so it must be right."

EDIT: Also I understand your complaint about my use of poor terminology, but there is no pretentious crap happening in my posts. I am still awaiting for this reveal, and I am starting to lose hope.

BRP, i think Kohan is just saying that belittleling other posters just makes you come off as pretentious. I do this sometimes too, but it's not exactly something you can deny not doing.

Making fun of other people's intelligence is fun, but taking the high road and not referencing any value based judgements usually makes it difficult for the others to demonize you. It's a good tactic when facing hot heads.

Cept I didn't really bash anyone in that thread, just their argument. Mocked them, at most. In fact the part you quoted where I made fun of the truly pretentious was followed up by
