There was a HD torrent camrip of 2.0 on Tokyotosho a few days ago. I cant find it anymore might of been fake. Any chance someones got a link. There is one decent camrip and one shitty one out currently.

When you were talking about how you were excited about watching the ending, and then when you watched it and you were horribly dissapointed and then you watched the first movie and you were dissapointed again, all I could think about was, welcome to how everyone else felt 13 years ago.

You're basically waiting 6 months for 2.0 to come out on DVD and be subbed, but a lot of us have been waiting for 2.0 since 1.0 was released, so about 2 years now.

Also 3.0 and 4.0 will be released at the same time, so we don't have to worry about waiting for 6 years for the ending.

Lastly, Magus did you watch 1.11? I have it but I haven't watched it yet, there's some extra scenes (I think only 2 extra minutes) and it's in higer definition if I recall.

Evangelion 2.0 Breaks 2 Million Viewers

The Mainichi Newspaper reports that as of July 28, two million viewers have watched the Evangelion 2.0: You Can (Not) Advance motion picture in the 120 Japanese theaters screening the film. A “Manatsu no Goaisatsu Campaign” to thank viewers for their patronage will launch on August 8th when movie viewers at select theaters will receive a free set of 3 “thank you” postcards. Exclusive second and third post card sets will be distributed to theatergoers beginning on the 14th and 22nd

Evageeks.org released their fansubs which are probably the most perfect you can find. They even went as far as to translate the lyrics to some of the songs for key scenes, which IMO made the movie 100 times better. Funimation definitely needs to take notes from this if they plan on releasing 2.0. Best Animated film I have ever seen hands down, 2.0 broke Gurren Lagann's epicness as #1 on my list, which I thought was nearly impossible.

Since shinji is going to choose Rei I'm gussing he'll become god by the end of final movie. another note Mari is going to appear in near future in TAKAHASHI Osamu EVA manga which is a welcome add to the cast since he can shape her personality (I still believe she a copy of asuka until movie 3+4 proves otherwise).

Shinji Ikari Raising Project is such a horrible manga to draw any notion of personality of the main characters though.
