    I don't like the USAS12 with frag rounds now. When my teammates step in front of me while I'm firing I get a suicide.

    It's not badly nerfed from what I see, it looks like they read bg and made it so your eyes need to get adjusted to them before you really can see any thing. It's either that, or it just doesn't work well in well lit areas. Either way, I'm excited once I get this on 360.

    Dude, that's Operation Metro. It should work like a charm in the subway.

    They need to highlight the people better than they are, otherwise the scope is utterly worthless. They adjusted it down enough, now they just need to up it a little bit.

    So they're adding 10 new weapons, are they? From the videos, the weapons we can confirm are:

    1)QBB-95 (Chinese LMG - Support),
    2) H&K MG36 (Support),
    3) FAMAS (French AR - Assault),
    4) L85A2 (British AR - Assault),
    5) QBU-88 (Chinese Marksman Rifle - Recon),
    6) H&K 53 (Carbine - Engineer),
    7) QBZ-95B (Chinese AR - Assault)
    8 Unknown
    9) Unknown
    10) Unknown

    As a gun nut, I'm dying to know what the last three are. I like how they're adding British and Chinese weapons to the mix. Need another Engineer weapon or two. And maybe a new Sniper rifle.

    I don't know, I consider almost all parts of metro well lit in most cases, unless they're hiding in like the air ducts or first tunnel that the jets blow up. Once you hit the station platform, I work under the assumption "I can see them and they can see me".

    The PP-19, MK3A1, and the L96, you can see them now on the PS3 version, just can't use them.

    the only nerf that should be happening is the tac light nerf.
    next nerf is sniper rifles only shoot out to 200M's

    ...what? I have a record headshot of 501m. Some one else on this forum beat me a few days later with a kill that was in the 530s I think. You're either really bad at recon, or are whoosing me real hard...

    Sounds like he was joking about the next nerf being for recon so they won't shoot over 200m

    PC, and it just seems to come and go. I have no idea what causes it.

    And lol, I should try to break 900m+ headshot. I got one in the 600~ or so range earlier today doing my favorite past time on Operation Firestorm: counter sniping the huge fags that camp up in the mountains.

    What rifles are you guys using for this? My main rifle in 2 was the L96 so I'm waiting for that to become available for I go serious with recon. Right now I'm just using the EMR.

    Any headshot with a bolt-action rifle will be an instant kill, and you need a headshot to get the marksman bonus. The M98B seems to have the slowest drop, but I can't provide any proof of this. The M40 and SV98 are both stout weapons at extreme ranges, and I assume the L96 will be as well.

    As a side note, tried out the M145 scope (3.4x) on the M98B and it takes some getting used to, but because it has limited lens glare, snipers were going crazy trying to figure out where I was shooting them from. Worked great at short to medium ranges. Not recommended for over 300m though.

    M98B for those types of distances I figured out that anything lower cant shoot past 800 or at least in my experience.

    Vehicles:
    Increased the locking distance for Jets when locking on laser designated targets.
    Increased the damage the MBT's primary weapon does to other main battle tanks.
    AA Missiles should no longer kill the pilot instead of the vehicle.
    Tank rounds will now instantly destroy Jets, Attack Helicopters, and Scout Helicopters.
    Using flares too early will no longer distract missiles fired at long range. The missile must be approaching the vehicle in order to reliably be distracted by flares.
    Attack Helicopter Guided Rockets will now only track ground targets, as originally intended.
    Reduced the direct damage done by helicopter gunners vs armor.
    Slightly increased the blast radius of the rounds fired by helicopter gunners vs infantry.
    Vehicle weapons should now suppress correctly.
    Increased the direct hit damage of the APFSDS rounds for the IFVs.
    Miniguns and Helicopter Gunners now more quickly destroy parked cars.

    Weapons:
    Significantly increased the damage of Laser Guided Top Attack missiles.
    Javelin missiles fired without laser targeting now do more damage to the side and rear of MBTs.
    Slightly reduced the repair speed of the repair tool.
    Fixed a problem when locking on to two nearby targets, the locking should no longer jump rapidly between multiple targets.
    Reduced the total number of RPG and SMAW missiles carried from 5 to 4.
    Slightly reduced the locking time of all weapons vs Laser Designated targets.
    Slightly reduced the effective blast radius of the RPG and SMAW projectiles against infantry.
    Reduced the recoil of the SKS rifle and slightly increased its power at close range.
    Semiautomatic sniper rifles, Assault Rifles, and LMGs now have more consistent damage over long range.
    Increased the close range damage maximum range of 9x39mm ammo.

    Soldiers:
    Increased the spawn protection time from 1sec to 2sec. The protection will still be immediately canceled as soon as the player moves or shoots.
    Spawn protection will no longer be canceled by the player looking around.
    Slightly increased the speed at which a player can shoot again after sprinting.

    All welcome changes, especially the Top-down damage of Javelins. I'm not too bothered by the IRNV, but those Tactical Lights have to be fixed NOW.
