I managed to play a game with the FAMAS before SWTOR went up yesterday morning and it's probably my favorite assault rifle now. The rate of fire on that thing is insane.

it's insane, yes... but if you encounter more than two enemies you're fucked because you need to reload the weapon :/

I agree with the sentiment that the SP was shit, it is pretty terrible, especially compared to the polish the MW series has on its SP. I pirated MW3 so I could finish the story and while I like BF3s multi, I just cant get into it very well on a solo affair. I blame that on my way too many years of counter-strike and then movement towards the MW series single player. The arcade style just fit me better playing without friends. If I get some a friend (dole) going with me, I really enjoy dropping medkits and reviving him constantly for free points while I get sniped randomly or just run over by people who can aim better

Loving the new/oldschool maps. Havent done Wake Island yet but the other ones let you destroy pretty much everything and are pretty well sized.

Wanna kick some ass in a duo/trio? Unlock CITV on the tank. That thing is so awesome it feels broken. I love the delicious tears shed by elite pilots who call you a hacker because their flares do exactly fuck all to your CITV-assisted guided shell. Delicious, delicious tears.

I was getting ripped apart by Javs in Wake Island in the beginning of the night, finally got back my grove. Kuroi you need to learn how to spawn on me if you wants be a gunner. D:

Also, has all the kinks been worked out for the flight sticks? I kinda just got lazy and kept with my keyboard flying.

I've been flying quite a bit lately (gotta practice, ya know?) and I never had any flight stick problems.

is there a way to use my xbox controller on my PC for flying but still use the keyboard and mouse for ground stuff. last time I tried to do that it locked it all to the controller, which Id rather just not use all together compared to the glory of a precision mouse

What kind of stick did you have? Thrustmaster?

I considered that product as well but I wanted a more basic throttle, looks like a nice stick though.

Bought the Thrustmaster, if I'm buying a joystick I may as well have the throttle as well. Can't beat that for ~$29, maybe I'll invest in some foot pedals for the rudders in the future.

Thrustmaster is far and away best sticks for the price. The Logitech ones and others around 20$ will fall apart after a while.

Also, you probably won't use the throttle on Thrustmaster. Most good pilots including top have one hand on keyboard other on stick.

Is it 15m or less or did they push it to 30-70m (mid range)?
