You can do that? I was under the impression had to be same series and that the more powerful card would be gimped by the slower card.

And by sli i assume you mean crossfire?

I'm sure your tips on jets are gonna help a ton, thanks. I was already having the problem of going way too fast all the time. As a result I would just end up doing almost uncontrollable circles around the center of the map at max speed until i either got shot down or smacked into something.

I didn't realize that I was doing this until I saw some other noob pilot doing the same damn thing, I remember saying to myself as I locked on with the stinger and shot him down, what the hell is he doing up there.

I've got quite a few unlocks for jet. I think I've got up to air radar; however, I'm terrible at shaking other pilots that are on my ass. I try to be as sporadic as possible, but half the pilots I play against still manage to stay on my ass.

Dog fighting is all about hard turns with Afterburner > Brake+Turn > Afterburner.

Here's some more tips while flying in a jet that may help:

- Keep holding down your brake button, this allows you to make extremely sharp turns (does not apply to the F35) but instead of touching your throttle, tap your afterburners to build speed.

- Keep your airspeed to around 300 while dogfighting; too far below you start to stall out, to far above and you cannot make sharp turns; this is the sweet spot to aim for while tapping the afterburner.

- Use the lensflare to your advantage, attacking with the sun behind your back make your harder to spot coming in, flying towards it allows you to make a last minute bank that the other pilot won't be able to track as easily.

- You can outrun missiles on full burn, you can also outmaneuver a missile if you're not flying towards it.

- There's a reason why you don't start out with missiles vs other jets/helis, the cannon is the best weapon taking out other aircraft (jets give a bigger target when they're banking and you maneuvering with an extra lead on your target)

Hope this helps, I'm a decent pilot but then again if you look at my stats you'll notice that I play on all the classes/vehicles equally. The RDM of BF3 here :3

Yeah I messed up sorry. There's a guy named pigfkr or some kind of variation on the PSN who rapes shit with the support USAS/Flak combo. Fucking despise the guy. Usually when people pull out the USAS I pull it out and make it my mission to kill them over and over and over. This particular guy, we went back and forth with about 20 kills to each other with the USAS. Hate that damn gun.
