^ wow that explains A LOT to me. So many times I have gotten phantom shot or insta killed. If this is true than lag is just not the uber pro any more for raping your aim :io
Last half of that video I thought was obvious. Can't shoot thru the concrete, can shoot thru the normal boxes. Didn't understand the big deal on that.
I think a lot of people don't realize, when prone, your legs go through walls and can be shot. It's dumb, but, so is being able to prone with only half your body coming out of a corner.
Killed someone the other day who had a wittle foot barely sticking through.
Battlelog app is out on iPhone.

Exactly what I love about 64 metro. Chaos in every direction.
for as much as i hate CQC maps, they look pretty fucking fun, there is going to be death in every corner that's for sure.
I'm cautiously optimistic about this DLC. I don't mind close quarters maps as long as they're not the one-dimentional meat grinding fusterclucks like Operation Metro, and to a lesser extent Grand Bazaar and Seine Crossing. Having 2-3 routes to take on a map is insufficient. There needs to be at least five or more, especially when there are more than 24 players on a server. I believe Strike at Karkand (and Sharqi Peninsula) is a good a balance of urban warfare without the stupidity of choke points. The whole reason I play Battlefield is to get away from the choke points ala Call of Duty.
Just got this game about a month ago and I'm getting into the sniping and Recon thing this week; is there a clear cut bolt action rifle that is superior to the others (OHKO, or at least more damage than the other bolt actions)?
Right now I'm using an L96 but the ones I have access to (assignment bolt action gun, L96, SV98) all seem the same.

Not sure if this was affected by patch
L96 is one of the rifles of choice, if I remember, unless you're going for distance shots.
Looks like L96, M40A5, and M98B are the winners. M98B's higher damage for under 100 meters looks enticing too. I wonder how much it sways compared to L96/M40.
I use the M98B. I don't notice sway because I try not to stay in scope for more than a few seconds and the duration of holding your breath is typically long enough.
For bolt-action rifles I used to love the L96 but atm its a bit bugged, it shoots higher then where the reticle is, its especially noticeable at closer ranges. My current favorite is the SV98 since it hasn't changed at all and is pretty consistent. Though these days on recon if I'm gonna use a rifle, its usually the SKS since that keeps me alive longer as I run around.
