I shall bow before your BF3 endowment because I can pick what team I end up on
i was about to see if you were on but apparently battlelog is down. fffffffffffffffffff
I can understand why people arnt enjoying the beta, aside from all the problems of the beta that will be fixed before launch.
The game does a really good job of making you feel like you are actually in a large scale battle, the sound is amazing with all the weapons going off all the vehicles and the explosions happening all over the map it really does immerse you. The game also looks amazing one of the best looking FPS out there right now.
For me its going to be one of those games that i play with a bunch of friends once in awhile, i don't see myself being able to enjoy it playing solo and that's a shame because i was really excited for the game to launch. Maybe playing the game after launch will change my mind when all (most) of the annoying bugs are fixed.

No in-game squad management in Battlefield 3
Ain't taking my money for this shit, back to BF2 and play4free is still better than 3.Battlefield 3 is “missing” many features which were in previous Battlefield games, features such as a server browser for PC players. The Battlefield 3 beta is in full swing, and most players have noticed something else missing from Battlefield 3: squad management. It’s not possible to manage a squad in-game, or to choose which squad to join — squads are created automatically and players are randomly assigned to squads (so it seems).
PC players in particular have been surprised over the lack of these features, especially since squad management is available in console versions of Battlefield 3. And for PCs? According to DICE Community Manager Daniel Matros (via Twitter), squad management and voice chat has been moved to Battlelog. Having to switch to Battlelog to create or join a squad is, to put it mildly, unintuitive. Most PC systems cannot handle the constant Alt-Tab between applications, especially RAM-heavy ones like games.
Matros did add that you will still be able to see your squad in-game (obviously), but shifting yet another game mechanic/feature to Battlelog seems overkill. We’ve been playing the beta via Battlelog on PC for a while now, and honestly, we’d prefer an in-game server browser. Judging form the feedback on Twitter and in EA Forums, Battlefield fans are not too happy about this new way of managing squads.
What’s next, go to Battlelog to change your kit?
I'm still impressed with the game, I'm just gonna hold my skepticism from now on until launch.
I think Matros and Bowling need to have a love child so the world can see what happens when two retards reproduce.
Seriously? Alt+Tab to manage squads? This is worse than the announcement of IWnet, which failed miserably.
Stop fucking doing what you want and just listen to your fans. They know what they're talking about.
other than you guys. I dont have many friends that are gonna play this consistently over mw3. So if squad stuff is fucked up wont mind.
Ill just be![]()
Im trying to see the benefit of doing squad management and voice over battlelog instead of in game and i cant think of a single thing =(.
there are 0 benefits
I found myself not enjoying this beta at all.![]()

But yeah it's cool, link some nobodies blog and get your panties all twisted lol.
double -.- whats with the forums today
Well, to be fair that seems more of a response to the overwhelming negative feedback of what was the squad management system and them fixing it to what people want.
Watch this until the very end.
First time I played the beta I hated it but than I went online and watched some videos on how to play BF games now I love it, especially with PS3Bros.
Questions:
How's hipfire? Should I throw a ACOG on my rifles?
Do all sniper rifles take 2 hits to kill someone even in the head?
Can I mute people?
On xbox you can mute them, but through the xbox menus, not in game. Hip fire is hip fire...if you're really close it's faster and better then aiming, but anything that isn't almost breathing on each other benefits more from aiming; I use acog or one of the many different kinds of rds for my rifles, just depends on where I'm fighting at.
Most sniper shots that aren't head shots do take two hits, just depends if they're missing some hp or not. You are more then likely not adjusting for bullet drop, so when you're sniping at medium to long distances you end up hitting their body or shoulders and not the head. Try aiming for their forehead or just above their head and you'll see a lot more success with sniper weapons. Practice that and use a bolt sniper when you unlock it, that's my favorite setup.
