There is some significant bullet drop that I've noticed on ARs. The attachments also modify them, such as the suppressor (quieter shots, faster drop) or the heavy barrel (more accurate shots, slower drop), so I hope they really flesh out this dynamic in-game. Would get so tired in BF2 of breaking out the L96 and hit some guy in the chest from far away and all he had to do was land two PKM shots and I was dead.
Of course, just like vehicles, in game squad management will be in the "final version"

Battlefield players were quite upset over news that Battlefield 3 squad management was moved to Battlelog, forcing players to switch between the game and Battlelog in order to manage squads.
Luckily however, there are now some good news: DICE’s Barrie Tingle has posted on the Battlelog forums where he revealed that squad management will be available in-game in Battlefield 3. Tingle said, in an answer to a question regarding squads:
“In short answer form, yes you can browse and join squads through the squad screen and make private squads.”
The new in-game squad management won’t be updated into the beta, but will be available in the final game.
Bitching does work!
Bitching won't take facebooklog away.
All bullets are affected by the drop, but it seems they did a very good job at making every weapon and upgrade affect it in some way just like a real weapon. It really does take some getting used to for each weapon, giving each one it's own "feel". I just hate how you still have to unlock the same scope for every weapon individually >_<.
Nice thanks for info.
I played Scout for one round, just need one more kill for SV98.
I do love the sniping but I see why people hate it.
Don't forget you can hold your breathe by clicking in the left stick, that'll make the long distance snipes easier. Also, if you go prone with a bipod, or crouch next to cover you can aim over with a bipod, you'll deploy it and get 0 sway while using it; quite handy once you unlock it. The straight pull bolt is also neat, but it doesn't work in beta =(
how the fuck do you do parties in PC and join as a group? this facebook battle log shit is stupid
M40A5 is a god tier sniper, fuck yeah.
well I officially tested all Sniper Rifles that can be unlocked in beta and so far, SV98 takes the price home.
Faster reload, faster ADS and ofcourse since we got that running 1shot glitch good for taking out entire squads.
PSN: DNA0912
If you play recon like 90%+ of the time give me your battlelog ID so i can /drool over your stats
Please explain this one shot glitch...
O_O you don't know? Enemies sprinting can be 1 shot'ed on any part of the body by any bolt action sniper rifle. i think SVD and its counter part can do it too not sure i hardly used them.
DNAval, my battlelog ID is codyscanales8. I play mostly on PC but have a few games on PS3. Here's my best SV98 game:

Nothing crazy but I've never played a BF game before so I felt it was nice enough![]()
A little off-topic but does anybody play Battlefield freetoplay? I signed up and am downloading. Soldier name will be Kuishen. Friend me and we will conquer shit together.
Trying desperately to get better with the bolt action rifles. Coming from a FPS background consisting of mostly Halo and a little CoD (and other irrelevant things like L4D and the like) it's certainly a learning curve, but it's fun. I'm sure the glitches and stupid collision detection aren't making it any easier but it's fun nonetheless.
