For the record. BFP4F is fucking awful. I don't even know why I decided to download it. Who the fuck do they think is going to pay real cash to get an advantage on a game that looks like shit, plays like shit and really the only selling point is nostalgia, which doesn't even apply to me.

it's so easy to do both. plant bomb, sit in corner with shotgun, rack up killstreak. i managed to kill 7 guys with my 7 clip about 30 minutes ago doing that actually.

Eh, it's supposed to be strong in a choke point, that's the point. Not only that, but you get the jump on them. Take away both of those and it's not nearly as good.

After analyzing the data from our first round of closed Caspian Border tests, we have great news for participants in the Battlefield 3 PC Open Beta: the DICE team has decided to bring back Caspian Border for the beta’s final weekend and conduct an open large scale test of the 64 player Caspian Border map.

*****Please keep in mind that as this is beta we will be stress testing our servers***** As such, users may experience crashes, network instability and outages as we roll out and configure servers and network utilities. Understand that such potential issues and the testing environment are not reflective or indicative of the final product and that, through your participation, you will be helping to ensure future stability and functionality.

As we are again specifically testing 64-player server configurations, this test will be for PC only. The Caspian Border servers will be available for all PC players to join. Caspian Border will be available starting Friday, October 7th, in the afternoon (CET).

UPDATE: Some users may see "You were kicked by an administrator" when dropped from the game. This is not accurate (beta!) and relates to being dropped by the server. Thank you for your continued participation in our beta!

On PS3, how the hell do you keep your friends in your squad? I would invite a friend to a squad, then search for a match. Once a match was found it would just toss us into it and not let us get into a squad together (sometimes it would toss us onto different teams).

You have to just leave/rejoin a squad every few min til you all are in together. Its a beta problem.

Hell yeah. DICE wasn't kidding when they said they were pushing the 360 to its limit. If it gives me HQ textures, you may use as much of my Hard Drive as you want, DICE.
