LOL I think everyone goes through this. First time flying heli in BF2 and BFBC2, wait for it to be filled up with squad mates, take off, nose dive in to ground killing everyone. Fucking inverted flying controls.

me and my little friend squad, which is comprised of my nephew and 2 of his friends have each specialized in 1 or 2 aircrafts, because in bbc2 only a genius can master all... 2 diff apaches heli's each with diff handling and controls is a pain.

my biggest problem with the planes is no matter how high i put my mouse sensitivity it feels like i can never out maneuver anyone. usually i dont crash into things, but i dont think i have got a single kill with a jet yet. and usually i can't even get off the ground before the dickbags in the jets on the other team blow that shit up on the runway.

the choppers though... fucking deadly with the choppers.... i can just about outmaneuver anyone, dodging rockets, flying below tree lines through valleys and shit pretty close to the ground so that its a complete surprise when i show up to any tanks or other air vehicles.

i really want to get a flight stick and throttle for bf3, i think that is the only way i'll be able to handle the jets.

Only thing I was ever good at piloting in BF was the Huey and Blackhawk. Medic chopper FTW!

these were my specialty, I could out maneuver an apache, but don't ask me to drive an apache cause i'd be all over the floor....

I'm not good with any of the aircraft. I just like getting in an riding with someone that can actually fly.

Like all good things, though, so too must the Beta come to an end. We've got to get the servers down, make updates and tweaks based upon all the feedback you've given us, and get everything ready for the big day of release.

I need to try out this PC beta before it ends. I loved flying helicopters in BF2, except I wasn't a douche and learned how to fly playing against CPU bots lol. I could fly jets okay, but I was never able to do anything in a dog fight. I haven't played either Bad Company game, so I'm sure it'll take getting used to again, but I'm so excited.

Agreed. Hopefully it'll be like BF:BC2 where you can throw down 6 AT mines, forget all about them, die a few times, switch kits, then randomly get a shit-ton of points 10 minutes later when a Bradley full of men hits one. ;o

Are there any Rush maps with vehicles? In MAG, I used to lay down AT mines in a row because everyone drove straight up the only road to get near the bunkers, and almost always got a full squad blown up out of it lol. I could see this strategy coming in very handy. Also on jets for fun. And I don't get the hate on Flashlights, every time I got blinded by one, I just sprayed in that general direction. I actually think they're pretty cool especially if noobs can't deal with them.

Holy crap at the video. I never would have thought to bring a rocket launcher when bailing out of a plane.

I don't understand all the hate. I loved this way more than the MoH or BC2 tests and I've played every single battlefield there has ever been.
