That's 1 exclusive weapon and 2 exclusive attachments. Not 3 exclusive weapons. Still not worth the $17.96 I'd be saving going through amazon. Especially since I'm not a LMG guy.

dont we get the pre-order just for the future DLC with new maps? or am i mistaken ( i dont care about the items we can unlock at higher levels )
Well, that sucks, because no pre order I've found in Sweden has an exclusive weapon -.-
Also, the flachete ammo is NOT exclusive. You can unlock it normally too. And the one you get in the warfare pack is exclusive to the weapon you unlock.
The only real advantage to pre-ordering through EA then is getting the DAO and 88 early.
Can't wait to play some of those BF2 maps.
brief descriptions of 4 maps, 5 more tomorrow

damn, the game looks gorgeous. placed an order on amazon for release date delivery. I wasn't in the beta or alpha but I loved BF2 and BF2142 so I'm sure I'll love BF3 too.
watching that video, I found myself saying "get down, get down, turn the flash light off, get down" watching that guy play. I kept expecting him to get sniped. I can't wait to play looks awesome.

Battlefield 3 will ship with an Online Pass code in the box that will be needed to access the game’s expansive multiplayer features.
The news was confirmed by DICE designer Alan Kertz on Twitter. When pressed on the reasons for the decision, he said that the decision to use the system was “because servers cost money, and used games don't make developers any money”.
Those who buy a pre-owned version of the game will be able to buy an Online Pass for around £8.
Its predecessor, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, included a VIP pass that could be redeemed to access additional content on the game disc that was otherwise locked.
The last high-profile EA release to not include an Online Pass was Portal 2, and before that Crysis 2. But these games were published under the EA Partners label, meaning their developers were free to opt-in or opt-out of the scheme.

Do consoles get dedicated servers too?
Consoles gets a server browser so I would assume so.
Yes, but unlike PC servers they cannot be configured.
Why do you think you pay so much for Xbox Live? rimshot
If you have the game pre-ordered on Origin you can pre-load it on the 21st, 4 days before release.
Well, then. I think I'll be ordering it through Origin. When's the last day to pre-order?
Just checked Amazon and they're doing the same thing, October 21 preload date. Price there is only 15% off now, but still cheaper than origin.
Yes, but you don't get the exclusive weapons and BF4F unlocks.
