Battlefield 3

After flying a bit, I'm still pretty OK at helicopters, though they tend to get shot down pretty fast. Does anyone know if Engineer pilot still auto repairs a little bit? I was riding as a passenger repairing too but it's still tough to stay flying except maybe with 2 engineers. Fuck planes though, I can get in the air, but I haven't been able to kill anything (was in Rush with an A-10 though).

As for connection problems, sometimes after a match (I think when the map is changing) my screen goes black and nothing happens. In between rounds and switching sides I have no problems though.

Is there any way to do an offline match just so I can practice the vehicles and stuff? Like in CoD you can go into a map solo, just wondering if there's anything like that here. Gonna be on tonight around 8 eastern i think (assuming servers work, lol), if anyone doesn't mind me bringing down their squad.

I don't believe so. You can join an empty map, but it won't start until there's a total of 8 players in it.

DICE breaks Promise: No BF1943 free copy with Battlefield 3 Limited Edition

DICE has finally commented on whether the PS3 version of Battlefield 3 will include the free copy of Battlefield 1943 as promised earlier by Sony and EA. On all this, DICE said that Battlefield 3 Limited Edition will come out only with Back to Karkand DLC, apart from that nothing else.

Check out what exaclty DICE said: "The Limited Edition will not come with BF1943, but with the Back to Karkand expansion."

Going by the response from DICE, it seems like either they have taken back their original promise, or Battlefield 1943 will be included at a later date for PS3 owners.

It would be one thing if the DLC came out a month earlier than xbox..... buts its only gonna be a week earlier. lol

I cant shoot worth shit because I cant see people very well but I throw out med packs like a boss and me and dole get our murder on

to clarify: I havent played a battlefield game in multiplayer for ages (like bf1942 ages) so my multiplayer experience has been primarily MW1 and 2, so everything looks different and much much larger

Ever since I got my new mouse I've been in beast mode in BC2, hoping that translates over to BF3. Oh and also I hope I can actually fly aircraft in this game, always been my weakest point in BF games.

I wish battlelog gets some kind of "feats" thing goin, last night I did a crazy sniper shot from the carrier on that map where you take apcs to the island. I was using a 7x scope on the sv98, nailed a headshot and kill in one shot from 501m away. I literally stood up out of my chair and did a

I miss satcoms and artillery and commanders. I also have the same problem as sonomaa as I can barely see the enemies so I've been relying on resupply and suppressing fire. Support gets mortars though? I'll continue playing it though lol. I haven't had an opportunity to play with the c4 yet.

GPU fan makes high pitch squealing noise over 40% speed and is kinda loud/clicking at 25-40% so I'm gonna pick up a new card today. Can't overclock it because of this but the game looks damn impressive despite.

one thing dole told me to do which gets you points and is helpful is when you zoom in and target something press Q, it lights it up on the map and can help you see enemies as well as point out who sniped you to everyone else if you get tagged. great for aircraft too

yup... One big issue in this game is no one spots... I did circles in jets forever because I couldn't see any targets.

I find that amazing, because everyone spots in BC2 and it's super-useful.
