Not having much fun either in the mulitplayer. Graphics are absolutely insane on my PC, but so far the multiplayer is way too slow...maps are too large it feels.

check your bank statement/credit card if you bought directly from origin, people are reporting being double/triple/over/undercharged
I'm glad I'm not the only one that feels this way about the multiplayer ... maybe I'm not crazy after all.
I wasn't a huge COD fan (huge, huge, huge into Halo and extremely good), but I would take COD multi over this. I'm falling asleep...what is the smallest map? Maybe that will help change the pace.
It's why I don't like playing largest maps. I prefer smaller maps with some open areas and ome small areas. If you play the large ones you NEED vehicles unless you want to spend the entire map running. And people are morons and drive jeeps solo.
If you want smaller maps; put on some filters - "infantry only" in particular. Will only show you the smaller infantry maps.
I'm having a little bit of trouble adjusting to the Conquest Large maps, but I feel it would help if I had some gun unlocks. I've been playing Rush though, and the objectives really help to focus everyone. You still have campers and get killed by them, but its not nearly as spread out.
I like battlelog, i can see it being annoying. but for me, i don't switch servers often
How the fuck did my gamesave get corrupted, and now Brobox multiplayer isnt connecting. I've only played a little bit of Bad Company 2 (I know that's not a canon BF game I guess), but otherwise never played a BF game really before. I'm really trying to give this game a chance, but it's not even letting me O.o.
And I've played a few times with campaign and multiplayer I still cant connect to battlelog. getting "Your account is not allowed to log in" error. WTF EA/DICE, who is dropping the ball? They wanted to take away COD's playerbase and aren't even prepared for it...
Being my first Battlefield game, i'm incredibly impressed by it and have a ton of fun every time i get online. Sounds like console players really got the shaft though with tech issues and poor map design with them being too big for 24 player matches. I usually play 64 player conquest, and all the maps seem fine to me. Operation Firestorm and Caspian Border may be a little bit big, but if you go after objectives all the time the fighting tends to center itself so it works out. I like it.
Too many people are just unprepared for the realism. It also helps if you use team work and have a few people you know in your squad, working together is key; i wont even do multiplayer if my friends arent online.
The large maps do seem almost too large to me as well, and being new to the BF series, it is all a bit overwhelming to move from FPS games that have small maps like CoD to maps that allow for so much running around unnoticed. It is cool how much freedom you have in routes to objectives, but for me personally, my TV also adds to the large maps to create another problem. Since it isn't a huge flat-screen, it makes it really hard to see snipers, and units at a distance, when in other FPS games on my brobox, on even the long maps I could still kill people with iron-sighted weapons with little difficulty. Now I can't even see the units that are far off, which often results me me taking a sniper round to the dome-piece from attackers I can't see.
It could have just been the server I joined, but I noticed earlier that a team of campers that gets a few tanks first can basically easily spawn-camp and win the round. I played in a server earlier where the team I was on lost like, 7-8 times in a row before I quit because the opposite team would camp with decently high-level sniper rifles in any rocky/rooftop areas, while tanks and helicopters would keep everyone in my team in the spawn. They did this on multiple maps, and since tanks are so damn hard to kill if they have even 1 engineer full-time healing them (I clearly remember shooting 5 starting RPG rounds into 1 tank without it dying at one point), there was literally nothing my team could do to get remotely close to the first of the 3-4 flag points.
lol, now my game froze on xbox. I can handle the "realism". I just want the shit to work. I know I have to get accustomed to the BF style of play. Also.... Helicopters and Jets aren't that damn hard to pilot, I just wish I could get a different view. I guess the controls are too sensitive for peeps
Having van and other friends playing made killing jingles all the more satisfying.
Fuckin hell with the Spawn Camping... I just got spawn camped leading to the other team winning... why the fuck would a "random" spawn point keep spawning me in front of the same fucker... he either shot me or knifed me every time
Ok, I didn't give it enough of a chance. Got some basic unlocks and it's getting a lot easier already.
I enjoy the game. But I think I really lost a lust for clan-competition since I stopped playing SOCOM.
That being said, co-op is really really fun when you're adlibbing racial commentary.
Note sure why people make Large Conquest maps with a server cap of 16 to 32? Fucking LARGE MAPS FOR LARGE AMOUNTS OF PEOPLE D:
