Yeah seriously...three days later we're still having some bullshit with the servers.
I still have yet to get a kill in a Jet. It's so hard to control it with a controller. Probably gonna invest in a joystick. Oh and servers back up btw
lol the way you said it, that you can't run and gun just made me think that you're the type of player that sits behind a wall all game. I know finding cover is important. Sorry, I had also just been playing sweaty campers so I was like grrr campers lol.
Lol, no chance, i'm miles behind Aeowin or whatever
Am I alone in really disliking Battlefield 3? I had an extremely hard time focusing on people during multiplayer. It was almost like my eyes couldn't adjust to it. Maybe I'm dying.
You're being suppressed, it's a game mechanic. It's supposed to make it harder to retaliate.
man first time i spawned into a jet it was on the aircraft carrier on Kharg Island and I managed to fly out of combat area upside down into the sea
That's exactly the same thing that happened to me.
Got pretty high in a helicopter but wen't all 9/11 in to a building (wasnt kharg)
holy shit i suck at this game
Okay, well; I'm trying my best to enjoy this game and as such I have a few questions:
1. How much does your bullet drop over range and is it a static amount? Finding it very hard to snipe when I can sometimes shoot someone and miss and then shoot the exact same spot a moment thereafter and it suddenly hits them.
2. Can anyone link me to a video of someone playing a match where they are a good player but don't steamroll the enemy team? Preferably involving as little vehicles as possible. I figure watching will help a lot...
3. The recoil in this game seems ridiculous, even with burstfire. Any way I can change this?
4. Whenever my team is pushing through a chokepoint and the fight is just raging on there, my instincts tell me it's time to flank or otherwise outmanoeuvre the defenders. It never ends well. Is this not a legitimate strategy?
5. Any general tips and hints?
My advice to anybody who thinks they suck. Focus less on the shooting of other people and focus more on capturing objectives. You'll have more fun because you're accomplishing something, you'll get some unlocks and you'll learn the maps quicker than you would if you just wanted to pew pew.
Also, teamwork. Find a buddy and stick with him.
That being said, I really think I'm gonna have to invest in a flight stick or something... Day 1 and 2 weren't too bad with people outrunning stingers, but now I feel useless against a well-piloted jet.
