They need to make heatseakers one hit disable and second hit kill, or something. People always just eject -> suicide when I shoot them down.

Also when I fly a jet my team usually sucks ass. Last two rounds the other team had all flags captured for most of the match, I was second in points with about 600.

Alright so after reading some of the countless 1-star reviews on Amazon the amount of BAWWWWWing about this game is absolutely atrocious. Seriously want an honest opinion because I trust you guys more than those mouth-breathers. Is the game worth buying?

Glitches aside because those will be fixed in time. Also answer without any fanboyism if possible, though I imagine most of you do when recommending a game.

The game is really fun. Graphics are amazing, sound is amazing, and the pace is just my style. It's not as fast paced as a CoD, but it's a lot more strategic. I'd say it's the perfect balance between a tactical FPS like Rainbow Six, and twitch shooter like Modern Warfare.

The only gripe I have with the game is the horrible matchmaking which I hope gets a facelift. Everything else is very much worth it though.

edit: and some of the maps are whoamg big. this is not a run and gun shooter. you'll need to learn how to use cover and good vantage points to rack up kills. 9 times out of 10, the team that wins in squad deathmatch is always the one who knows how to control the map.

That pretty much sums it up. This game is very much a realistic war simulator, where you need not only your fps skills, but the skills of your team to win. The game never feels cheap, and the scale of the game is just massive. The learning curve is steep, but once you pick it up you realize it only felt that way because no other game offers you the same level of realism and immersion in a game like this.

There arent many bugs to think of, those got eradicated after beta. Matchmaking has stunk, but after the update yesterday i havent had a single problem, so im confident its been fixed or almost completly fixed.

The people giving this game a 1 star review are fucking retarded. The game has its faults; not being able to change seats in the chopper co-op mission, no single player aircraft training mode/map (which has resulted in me never getting into a chopper piloted by someone not on my friendslist or myself out of fear of some retard nosediving 3 seconds after take off), random game launching directx bugs, and minor optimization issues. I can see people dropping the score down to an 8 due to some of these issues, but a 1?

It has nothing to do with game physics its the PS3 Controller input lag that has issues, I can snipe no problem as long as the enemy is not moving, getting a head shot on a moving target is another issue with the aiming lagging the way it is now ( they had it right in beta ) dunno what changed.

Thanks. That's pretty much what I got out of the beta and having a hatred for Call of Duty, mostly out of principle at this point, I was pretty much set on buying it but the 100+ 1-star reviews on amazon kinda made me scratch my head. A quick overview of them put most of my doubt to rest as they were mostly about Origin and the EULA of Origin and/or CoD fags. But just wanted to double check. The last time I spent $60 on a game was Dead Island and after that fucking retardation... you can see why I'm hesitant lol.

I've had people enter a game "THIS GAME SUCKS FAGS! COD IS BETTER!" and "OMG THIS LAG IS AWEFUL! COD IS WAY BETTER!"

Makes me scratch my head. I've never been kicked from a server, not been affected by lag. The only annoying bug I've ran in to is falling through the ground on Operation Métro; but that doesn't apply to every server, and can be overcome by simply not playing Operation Métro.

idk, it can be fucking annoying as hell, dudes prone at the end of a longass hallway shining it straight down so if you even step into the hallway you're done for
