One thing that annoys me is how in bottleneck fights (like corridors), even if I stand behind my team mates, I somehow get taken out BEFORE the people in front of me <.<; Always makes me yell "WHY ME?!".

Sure fire way to get points. Put tac light on all guns. Spawn in squad with Sono and Ole. Proceed to randomly bilnd them for 30 minutes. > .... > Profit

The easiest way to get points is to play support or medic and stay behind your squad tossing out boxes of ammo or medkits, when you get your defilbs you will be even more useful to the team. Support is more lay prone and suppress the enemy with your LMG. Of course if you're going to play recon, I'd recommend taking off your scope and use the iron sights and go towards the front lines, the mobile spawn beacon that you carry can help out a lot.

Is that different than the ribbon for completing the match? (Conquest ribbon etc). It isn't a ribbon at all. It doesn't happen every round, and it's pretty rare when it does show up.

If you're not comfortable with only using the cannon. Keeping enemy air assets away from your team can help out a lot. Most people don't know how to dodge the missiles and panic and become nice little craters in the ground.

It was stated before but valid enough to state again. Try not to blind sprint around corners. If you have a competent squad and you come up to a T crossing, when one squad mate goes left, at least check the right to make sure some asshole isn't proning waiting to murder your entire squad.

You can try to outrun them or outmanuever them. If the launch wasn't in an ideal position, like a headon shot, you should be able to get away.

I have my defib etc. I can usually get over 2k-4k points in a round reviving people and healing them, but I barely get any kills since I only get assists, and I keep dying before everyone else even if I stay behind them :/ I've also got MVP2 ribbons healing,reviving and taking objectives, but I still only had 1 or 2 kills those rounds <.<;

Banking hard one way seems to be the easiest. 4 rockets later, plane is still taunting me to keep trying.

Most of the time, I say that because there are times when I get shot down by missiles even when afterburning outside of the map. I assume it's another jet behind me but usually they would cannon me if they're in pursuit.

For People wanting info on Jets:

Heat seekers are NOT a necessity. If you are on PC many Jet pilots are using a joystick, and you will rarely land any AA missiles. However, if you are on PC, you will be so busy dog fighting and dodging AA that you will rarely have time to fire rockets to the ground. It really comes down to whatever you are comfortable with.

For dodging:

You won't outrun most AA from other aircraft, the best thing to do is save flares for the last second. Wait until he has a steady lock on you for several seconds before firing flares.

The key to hard banking is to afterburner into a turn, then slam on the brakes while turning, afterburn out. Think of it as Shift > Start Bank > BRAKEEE > Shift > GTFO. If you learn to do this well, you won't use flares all too often, as non-joystick pilots and most joystick pilots will have an extremely hard time locking on. This is where cannons come in. Cannons will pretty much become your weapon of choice against decent and better pilots.

edit: also, learn to land, and play as engineer. I can't tell you how many times I've been at <20% health to land, repair, and get back in the air. Using the same plane an entire match. It takes like 3seconds to repair a plane to full, so even if you are out of bounds you have time to do it. Jump out, repair, if clock is low jump back in for a second to reset the clock.

I might make a video or stream PC Jet play, but most of this info is out there already. While that guide posted above is decent, he's playing on a PS3, and I'm sure the majority of users are on a PC where the game in the air is a different animal and the opponents are exponentially better. There is another short video I saw one time of simple air maneuvers, it tells you how to bank like I mentioned, and pretty much says "before watching this, get a joystick" like I preach daily.
